Got bottled at Kroger’s on Broadway. Piss yellow. Small, fast head. Aroma: Corn grains. Flavor: Corn grains. Tastes like a a macro-brew. It really cashes in on its link to Jack Daniels and Jack must be rolling in his grave. "We ain’t claiming this swill!"

Dogbrick (14309) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 24, 2017
Sample at Jack Daniel’s Restaurant at Opryland as "Tennessee Lager". Clear straw-gold color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a wispy film. Spotty lace. Wheat, fruit and malt aroma. Light body with flavors of corn, malt and slight grassy hops. The finish is watery with a corn and malt aftertaste. Below average overall.

Keg at Napa Smith, as ’Tennessee Lager’, 01/02/16. Pale golden with a moderate off white cap. Nose is pale malts, straw, grains, cereals. Taste is corn husk, light lemon rind, straw, toasted grains, pale malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Clean enough lager for the style.

One of only a select few beers I’ve seen in the Southeast that parallels a true Bavarian Lager. Very well-balanced with no overly-pronounced traits, except for maybe the biscuit. Hops are understated and this beer gives that lovely tingling on the tongue sensation. Somewhat taken back at how underrated it is.

Bottle. Sour milk, lemon, corn/barley malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with giant white head. Mildly sweet barley malt and mildly bitter hay flavor. Decent body. A pretty good pale lager.

Vestlake (279) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - JUN 17, 2016
Bottle pour, small head. Aroma and taste are classic Vienna lager. They did a nice job with this beer. It has a really good taste and is worth trying if you get the chance.

Stellaaaa (270) - Tennessee, USA - JUN 12, 2016
Pours a clear yellow with no head/lacing. Slightly sweet ceral aroma. The taste is fairly thin and watery but with a hint of tartness. Smooth but not overly crisp or tart. More meh than anything.

Sammy (12995) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 16, 2016
Basic yellow fizzy stuff. No aroma as well, a tad watery. Basic taste, not horrible but its a drainpour after 2 small swallows.

weitz15 (622) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 4, 2016
Bland aroma, light yellow pour. Flavor is comparable to natty ice or Milwaukees best. Smooth, but not refreshing, just dry.

BelgianBeerGal (4246) - Panama City, Florida, USA - AUG 8, 2015
Bottle at Nashville Gala chosen only because it was a new rating. Average across the board which isn't that bad for a pale lager. Just drink it cool because warmth does this no favors. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pkbites (1006) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 7, 2015
Bottle at Rippys, Nashville, Tennessee. Average EVERYTHING. Average yellow pour, corn aroma, white dying head, taste. Not horrible mind you, but nothing to write home about.
