One of the best Gbrewery in Hungary. From bottle. Good amber ale with a biscuit note, good body, just enough carbonation.

Bottle - Hazy deep amber colour, medium and stable beige head. Caramel and slightly hoppy aroma, some biscuit and stonefruits. Taste is sweet with caramel, peach, plum and green apples, some flowery hop bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation, velvety texture, dry and a bit sourish finish with lingering fruity and slightly hoppy aftertaste. Nice and decent amber ale.

On tap at Eleszto, Budapest. Nose is fruity, malty. Head is very small, white, creamy, average lasting, good lacing. Aroma is red fruits, honey. Medium sweet, medium sour. Finish is medium lasting fruity medium sweet sour. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Bit heavy, not my thing.

On tap at bolcso. Dark amber colour, small white head. Nose is slightly reminescent of industral lagers, better bit still close. Taste is low bitterness, some strange stickyness and alcohol. Strange.

Keg at Lehuto craft beer, Budapest. Murky dull amber brown coloured pour with a small halo of off white head. Aroma is nutty sweet malts, dishwater, tangy apple and some solvent alcohol. Some toffee on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of tangy Berry, nutty toffee malts, dried apple, tangy. Plaate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, semi drying finish. Lingering toasted malts and tangy fruit. OK

Tasted it three times in two years, all occasions were different but very unique. One of the best Hungarian craft beers I’ve tasted so far, I’m glad we have the pub Élesztő for such experiences.

Draught at Lehuto, Budapest, 27.7.2015. Opaque amber-red. Fruity, plum, a little bit of candy aroma, sweet, candy-like taste, with hints of biscuit and some wine. Medium-to-full body, winter fruit finish.
