crossovert (14360) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 27, 2018
33cl bottle. Golden pour, maybe slight haze, better than the walia i had with it, not quite mop bucket water, but a malty, underattenuated brew.

BuckeyeBoy (9352) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAY 30, 2016
Bottle pours out pale straw topped with a small head. Nose is grain wheat corn malts. Taste is more of the grain corn sweetness.

solidfunk (9825) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - FEB 4, 2016
Not too bad. Among the top tier of Ethiopian beers so far. Had a few of these, including one at the brewery.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8449) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 28, 2015
Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark golden color with a small foamy white head that left no lacing. The aroma was sour mash and was fairly tangy with hints of golden fruits and citrus. The flavor was tangy with sour mash, mild bitterness, rough perfume and a grainy and almost cardboard note. Long finish. Light to medium body.

HeadyBottomer (6) - - SEP 2, 2015 does not count
Poured this beer from the bottle into a thistle glass while at dinner with singer-songwriter, musician, dj, photographer, and very close friend Moby at an Ethiopian Restaurant in the East Village. Aroma of hops, malt, clay, honey, and lettuce. Taste is sweet with a touch of mango and a clouds taste metallic finish. Palate is light and carbonated with corn syrup and crisco feel. We were on a double date with a girls from OK Cupid.

Johnsense (1842) - - JUL 24, 2015
Hazy gold pour, no head. Spice and honey in the aroma. Sweet up front, honey, a bit vegetal. Lighter body.

ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - MAY 2, 2015
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- Nice blend of hops and malt Appearance- A very enticing golden color with a small white head Taste- A great blend of malt and hops Palate- Light bodied beer with moderate carbonation Overall- First beer from Ethiopia. If all are this quality then I can’t wait for my next one from this country.

GJF (1520) - Mount Vernon, Iowa, USA - APR 15, 2015
Bottle at mpls ethiopian restaurant. I couldn’t drink it. MB was OK with it, so I give it more than 1s, but perhaps my lowest rating ever.
