Bottle. Poured clear pale golden with a medium-sized white head. Aroma and flavor are grainy, fairly malty, some wheat, some honey, some grassy hops. Slightly thick mouthfeel. Not all that bad. cblado (298) - Washington, USA - DEC 2, 2011
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear, thin, golden color. Aroma is very light, some citrus. Flavor is thin, with some malt backside. Overall not a great beer. DarkSong (380) - Dacula, Georgia, USA - NOV 14, 2011
11.2 oz bottle. Pours a pale yellow with a large white head with large bubbles. It has a metallic aroma and the aroma of hay with some grass and cereal. The taste is floral, metallic and maybe slightly herbal with a nice hop aftertaste, it has a nice creamy mouthfeel. I enjoyed this beer it may not be the best but it’s good enough. hellbilly (3247) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - NOV 1, 2011

11.2 oz bottle. Has a label that looks like it was pasted on with a kindergartner’s gluestick. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with a small white soapy head that falls into a ring and thin film of foam in about two seconds. Aroma is vomity, grainy. Taste is sweetish but it has a welcome bitter hop edge. Tastes a little corny and metallic. Highly carbonated. Not good, but there’s a lot worse out there.

Bottle at Merkato in Los Angeles. Pours a dull yellow. Nice flavor. A little sweet, but decent hop bite. Mouthfeel is substantial for a lager. Went along nicely with the spicy food. wilnatp (723) - Minnesota, USA - JUN 28, 2011
Bottle. Honey and grain aroma and taste to match. Metallic and slightly bitter, grassy flavor is coupled with a hint of dust. Koelschtrinker (21117) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 21, 2011
Flacher, schwach gehopfter Antrunk. Später getreidig, wobei hier sofort ein metallernes Fehlaroma aufkommt. Dann wässrig, nur noch wenig getreidig. Laff, wenig spritzig. Zum Ende trocken. Trinkbares, aber überaus langweiliges Bier. 10/6/9/5/12/6

This was my first Ethiopian beer. Harar is a cloudy yellow lager with strong smells of bread, yeast, and malt. The taste is relatively plain with a hint of sweetness, it can be characterized as medium bodied, with a full finish. dutchbeerpages (2439) - Wilnis, NETHERLANDS - FEB 20, 2011
Very malty/yeasty. Slightly sweet palate too. Got this at Bert’s Bierwinkel in Utrecht.
