(Sample at Papsø’s) Pours a clear and very dark brown with rich, toffee head that laces the glass. Aroma is strongly dark grainy/cereal, which is gradually replaced by metallic notes as the brew heats up. Light body with soft carbonation and a long, sweet finish. Taste is strongly sweet, syrupy and unrefined. Ungstrup (38414) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 24, 2011

Very dark brown color, small brown head. Very ryebready, wort, some smoke in the aroma. Medium-bodied. Very sweet. Lots of Bamberg-type smoke in the syrupy flavor! Just too much worts and sweetness.
Bottled. Deep rubyish brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is raisins, some smoked notes, some slight sweet raisins and mild notes of mash. Flavour is mash, slight smoked and ashy notes. Strangely enough it’s a quite balanced low alcoholic thing.
