Fra cask på Bread & Roses, Plymouth 25 Sep 16. Mørk ferskenfarget. Lett uklar. Filmskum. God maltaroma. Smaken malt med innslag av frukt. Myk munnfølelse. Lett tørr fruktig ettersmak.

I had a number of pints of this last night. A decent quality session bitter, rich malty and nutty aroma with some stewed fruit. Nothing complex but an enjoyable drop indeed

Half pint, cask ale, shared with Finn at Bread and Roses. Clear amber body with a shade of red. Dotted spots on the glass. Filmy layer. Smell of tobacco and dried fruits. Mixed taste of tobacco, toffee and dried fruits, Mild bittersweet finish. Satisfying (Plymouth 25.09.2016).

Not getting much out of this; again, that may be due to bottle being four months past best before date (my careless stock-rotation...). Similar nose to the same brewery’s Light Ale, albeit with more pronounced toffee and caramel nose and in the mouth, and accordingly a slightly stickier mouthfeel (no bad thing) . It’s somewhere between an "amber light" and a "red light" for me, this beer, though - I would stick to others in this brewery’s range.

On cask at The Rising Sun, Berkhamsted. Smooth Amber caramelly beginning. Easy to drink, fresh and smooth with not much bitterness. Smooth, malty mild, nice.

Idiosynkrasie (7436) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - FEB 22, 2016
500ml bottle. Clear, copper colour with average to huge, foamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally soapy and floral, fruity hoppy aroma, notes of red berries, gooseberry, fruit parings, biscuity malty background. Taste is bitter hoppy, minimally soapy, cautiously floral, hints of unripe, green fruit, gooseberry, kiwi, cautious biscuity malty basis; (too) lively carbonation.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Dark amber with next to no head. Has a lightly sweet, easy-drinking low maltiness character.

teorn88 (7671) - Rimini, ITALY - OCT 5, 2015
Cask at The Gun Docklands, Winter Ale Festival, London. It pours a clean copper color with small off-white head. Aroma is dried leaves, light caramel, bread and biscuit. Taste is similarly medium sweet and lightly dry, with more bread, biscuit, caramel, dried leave. Pretty decent but muted flavors.
