500 ml flaske fra Shipmates of Fowey i Cornwall. Klar dyp kropp med lavt lyst skum. Såpeaktig sitrus ii nesa. Tørr men likevel med god maltfylde og ganske aromatisk med sitruspreget bitterhet.

Pale yellow, light haze. Fruity tropicals on nose, fruity sweetness. Medium light body.Taste is malt and citrus. Grapefruity finish.

Cask, Mariners Great Yarmouth. Dark golden appearance with white fading head. Orange marmalade aroma. The aroma translates somewhat to the taste. There is also another distinctive flavour in there which it took me a while to put my finger on, but I would say it’s water melon. This follows on with a pleasant if not too strong an aftertaste. It’s quite an interesting drink, slightly different from the norm which is good, not your typical 5% IPA.

Cask at Holborn Whippet. Golden colour with a white head. Pine, citrus and grapefruit. Hops with subtle malts. Dry finish. Pretty average, nice tho.

TheKernOwl (214) - West Sussex, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2016
Gentle fruit (+ apricot + pineapple + grapefruit). Vegetal/musky whiff, bit like Nelson Sauvin but much less tropical. Tastes grassy, and of waxy lemon, with a bit of caramel malt. Bit too restrained for my liking, as per previous time I tried it, but covers a lot of bases (albeit faintly).

RichTheVillan (7852) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 31, 2016
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear amber pour with a thin white head, aroma has pine and grapefruit, taste has light pine and citrus, some sweet caramel.

Cask at the rake. Quite pleasant but pretty boring. Not hoppy enough but a strange taste

blackradioboy (214) - SCOTLAND - JUN 18, 2016
Bottle from M&S. Quite nice. Sharp flavour with some background understated grapefruit followed by a light bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear amber pint with thin head. Light aroma of lemon and nuts. Light taste of grass, lemon, caramel. Some tartness before a medium, long bitter finish kicks in. A little watery but reasonably good overall.

Bottle from Saintsbury’s, consumed at home. Light gold, pretty much clear. Big white head but ir settles fairly quickly. Gentle orange and apricot aroma. Tastes bitter with a soft citrus sweetness, turning to a more emphatic bitter to the long luicy hoppy finish. Strong tropical fruit on the aftertaste. Carbonation is aggressive. It’s a good beer if fairly muted for an IPA. Easy drinking, it hangs together very nicely, hence the fairly high rate.
