Bottle from Saintsbury’s, consumed at home. Light gold, pretty much clear. Big white head but ir settles fairly quickly. Gentle orange and apricot aroma. Tastes bitter with a soft citrus sweetness, turning to a more emphatic bitter to the long luicy hoppy finish. Strong tropical fruit on the aftertaste. Carbonation is aggressive. It’s a good beer if fairly muted for an IPA. Easy drinking, it hangs together very nicely, hence the fairly high rate.

LazyPyro (1599) - Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 17, 2016
500ml bottle from The Bottle Bank. Clear golden colour with a one finger white head and good retention, lacing. Aroma of American hops, grapefruit, malt, citrus, pine. Lovely hoppy flavour with a good amount of malt too, well balanced, sweet and bitter, citrus, lemon. Moderate carbonation, nice mouthfeel, little bit sweeter than other IPAs but I like it. A decent IPA.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury’s. Pours fizzy clear light orange with big bubbles in the white head. Aroma of candy floss, citrus, pine and marshmallows. Taste nicely bitter with good sweetness.

UPDATED: MAY 21, 2016 Slightly hazy golden beer. Subtle biscuit / cereal notes with balanced floral and hoppy bitterness. Interesting with some complexity. A tasty IPA.

500ml bottle. Clear, orangey, pale golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney and minimally citrusy, hoppy aroma, hints of lemon, lemon biscuit, a minimally sulphuric touch. Taste is biscuity malty, minimally grainy, cautious citrusy hoppy overtones, hints of lemon, a strawy touch. So so.

Bottle from Sainsbury’s, amber-gold with a fine head and a spicy marmalade and tropical fruit nose. Dry toasted citrus, caramel and peppery bitterness. Good stuff.

Pours clear golden. Aroma is slightly floral, and malt. Taste is light, balanced bitterness with floral hops. Not your assertive american ipa, but a nice balanced ipa.

Look; off white head, near clear golden body, rocky huge lacing. Aroma; pine, citrus, caramel, honey, malts, butter, salt. Taste; hops, citrus, caramel, grains, sweet malts, honey, butter – leading to a balanced finish as sweet pilsner. On palate normal. Overall; light IPA, notes of czech svetly.
