On tap at the CP&K.Clear gold beer, little off white head. Light palate, a little dry and mildly crisp. Whisper of sulphur is an immediate off put! Neutral malt with mild minerals. A little citrus hops towards the mildly crisp finish. Would have passed muster without the bad eggs.2.7.

Bottle. Hazy gold - amber beer, tidy white head. Crispy palate, turning softer. Minerally light pale malt. Mild hops - fresh orange and a touch of tangerine. Crispy finish. Decent, but could do with a stronger hop presence.

Leighton (21458) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 25, 2012
Cask at Mason & Taylor, London. Pours clear, dark gold with a fine, white foam head. Light pine, grass and toast in the aroma. Light sweet flavor, some tangy lemon and orange, toasty grass. Light in body with fine carbonation. Faint hoppy spiciness to finish with more lightly toasted grass. Not bad overall, though better conditioning probably would have helped the beer.

Cask at the Cask, Pilmlico - 10/05/13. Clear golden amber with a moderately sized off white head that retains well. Nose carries floral hop notes, juicy fruit, orange, light pine. Taste comprises light apricot, orange pith, touch of grapefruit, hops, light sugars. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. A decent cask IPA.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2013 Cask conditioned Reading BF 2012. Mid orange gold. Thin bubbly head. Pretty decent hoppy premium bitter. Yes the hops are tasty and the malts have a certain toffee flavour. Fine. 3.3/5. Bottle from Sainsburys Beer Hunt 2013. Gold slight haze lasting off white head. Certainly a hoppy aroma, I mean I could smell the hops as I poured it. It’s certainly resiny and leafy more than I had it before. The hops are more to the front. Quite bitter on the finish and a growing bitterness. Tasty. Yes still some toffee in the middle, but the aroma is good and so is the bitterness on the finish.

Scopey (14945) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 29, 2012
Cask at Wandsworth Beer Festival, March 2012. It pours hazy amber, with a thin white head. The nose is floral, grass, grapefruit, dust, wood, leather and a touch of sulphur. The taste is pine, resin, grass, floral, citrus pith, zest, wood and spice, with a bitter-dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A promising start for this new brewery.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Dagan. Clear golden. Hoppy aroma with overripe fruits, a bit weedy. Flavor has a bit of sweetish english malt, a hint of biscuit and nice hoppy bitterness. Medium-bodied.
