COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned. Has been seen in cask.
This IPA is not particularly Pale. In fact it’s a deep ruby red. Based on a modern American style beer from Oregon using Cascade and Centennial hops in appropriate proportions, for bittering, aroma and dry hopping balanced with a strong Crystal malt backbone.

At el Raval l de Andorra. Nice honey/copper color with cream beige head. Great balance with some hoppyness and bitterness but still very smooth and easy to drink. Great palate too, just bubbly enough but yet very soft. A new favorite maybe?

Mahogany colored Amber ale with a small white foam. Fine hoppy but a little too bitter and too much carbon dioxide.

Bottle at the mondiale 2014. Amber pour, small off white head. Big cereal aroma, breads, slight roast and some nuts with a touch of herbal hops. The finish is lightly bitter, and quite malty, but the malts are light. Nothing is over powering,,its all quite subtle from the bready, lightly toasted malts to the herbacious, grassy hops. A great balance of subtle flavours.

Cask at Tweedies Bar, Grasmere. Deep amber with a thick yellowy-beige head. Big floral and pine aromas and flavours all the way through but with a good balancing sweet malt behind. Dry finish. Great beer.

from bottle at mondial 2014, mtl. unclear hazy dark golden, red tint, with an abnormal off-white-greyish head, good retention and lacing. sweetish toasted malts, some specialty malts, carbonic acid, grassy, spicy and citrusy centennial and cascade, pepper. overly carbonated, light body, foamy, balanced grassy-spicy-citrusy finish. obviously a bottle conditioning issue.. for a brew that seemed to be a more than decent slightly hoppy red.

lesifflebiere (1866) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 17, 2014

Eructoblaster (4181) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 15, 2014
Bottle - 330ml at Mondial de la Bière (Montréal, QC). Hazy amber body with a lasting off-white foamy head. Robust malty/hoppy aroma with grainy and brown sugar hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries malty, oaky, and grainy notes. Ends with a strong bitter/woody finish. Good stuff.

Pours a nice red with a medium offwhite head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is piny and fruity, pretty pedestrian. Taste is really fruity, moderately bitter and offers caramel flavors along with some citrusy hops. Body is medium, carbonation high and finish was pretty bland. OK
