Pale bronze with bubbly white head. Light biscuity body, sharp, fresh, grapefruity. Refreshing with a good finishing bitterness. Perfectly acceptable bitter.
Cask @ Akkurat, Stockholm Backlog 25 Nov 2004ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 12, 2004
Light coloured. Rather fresh. Slightly nutty and some tannines in the background.
(cask at Akkurat, Stockholm) Hazy honey colour. Light floral aroma, notes of citrus and grape-peels. Quite malt flavour with hints of floral hops and citrus. Low to medium body. Notes of hay and honey in the fresh long aftertaste. Good bitter! Hbie (133) - Essex, ENGLAND - DEC 3, 2004
Cask at Hamilton Hall, London. Golden colour white head. Fairly light bodied and hoppy. Pleasant but somewhat lacking for a beer of this strength.

Hand pump at the Figure of Eight (JDW), Birmingham. Fairly rotten pint, although I suspect this may be at least in part due to dodgy upkeep at this busy Broad Street pub. Hints of some pleasant hop and fruit, with sweet spots of sugar, but it ’s all too quickly dashed by a vinegary, rank, sulphur tinged, bad sour lingering flavour. Not good. haddonsman (1234) - Derby, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - NOV 8, 2004

Cask. Reddish amber coloured, large white head. Fruity aroma. Light body, carbonated mouthfeel. Slight bitterness. Dry finish. Good alround bitter. omhper (25160) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 17, 2002
Sampled cask conditioned. Reddish amber. Fruity aroma. Light body, sparkling mouthfeel. Full of subtle flavours, but yet very drinkable. Low bitterness. Classic is a very suitable name for this excellent bitter.
