Lord Moon Of The Mall, Trafalgar Square, London. A pretty dull bitter it has to be said, not really an old ale, didn’t pick up too much different about it. Thin, grainy, some hop bitterness, watery, not much happening.
Cask Handpump at the Waterhouse, Manchester (JDW) 06/02/2004
Mid brown smooth on the palate. Some sour fruit flavour. Pleasant malt finish. haddonsman (1234) - Derby, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2005
Cask at Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem, Nottingham. Chestnut brown body, very thin white head. Musty hedgerow aroma with some sweaty sweetness. Flavour of bubblegum fruits held in check by malty cream, slightly sour in the finish. imdownthepub (14441) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 16, 2004
Cask Conditioned at The Old Trip to Jerusalem, Nottingham. Chestnut brown with a slight head. Malty sweet, yeasy beer, with a powdery dryness. Develops a sharp bitterness in the finish with a sulphery nose. leaparsons (10499) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 11, 2003
A dark red-brown beer with a small off white head. Aromas are sweet and malty. This is almost alt-like in its dryness and bitterness. Licourice notes complete this unusual bitter.

Cask conditioned version sampled. Redbrown. Nose with coffee and roasted tones. Coffee and nuts in the flavor, good bitterness. omhper (24962) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 16, 2002
Sampled cask conditioned. Chestnut brown. Very fruity, medium bodied, mild. Some apple aroma. A rather uneventful, but flawless cask ale.
