Bottle... post Hunahpu’s Day 2016 at CCB... Pours dark brown with a small, creamy, off-white head. Decent retention. The bold, roasty aroma features dark chocolate, fudge and jalapeno coffee – this bottle may be old. Full-bodied with laid-back carbonation. The flavor offers sweet gingerbread, deeply roasted coffee, fudge and caramel. Lengthy mocha finish. Great stuff. The coffee component seems to be on the edge of becoming earthy and peppery. There’s something awesome about the name of the beer being so accurate to how the beer actually tastes. This literally tastes like a cold Christmas morning. You get big aromas of coffee, chocolate and spices...especially cinnamon. It smells like a more decadent version of Gingerbread Stout. As it sits and warm everything just gets even more pronounced and bigger. Taste is so rich and chocolatey. It’s like a cup of hot chocolate with coffee, vanilla and spices. Draft at Keagan’s in Short Pump, VA The draft poured an opaque black color with a tan head and modest lacing. This is one fine Imperial Stout. The aromas of chocolate and coffee with tinges of cinnamon.greet you. A complex stout I did not want to end. The taste is full of creamy chocolate with cinnamon and ginger chaser. The medium body stout has soft carbonation. The stout finished with some sweetness and ginger on the tongue..
