Keg at Beerdock Leek. A hazy golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of grain, bready malts, slight corn and subtle mild, german hops. Taste of bready malts, some grain, slight vegetable and subtle grassy, herbal hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A lingering, dry, bready malt and grassy hop bitterness in the finish. Decent balance to this, a bit of hop and bready malts. German in style but hasn’t hit the mark.

355ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, yellow-ish, deep golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Husky, strawy aroma, minimally musty hints of silage. Taste is bitter and grassy hoppy, minimally citrusy, diluted hints of lemon peel, minimally sweet, slightly grainy, malty basis. So-so.

Keg, One Bourbon. Bright yellow gold, white foam, insistent sparkle. Some sweetish grain up front. Firm finish with noble hop, floral and slightly spicy, moreishly bitter. Medium finish. Quite fizzy and a little burp inducing. Pils is reaching mainstream crafty trendy and I get so annoyed when you are asked to pay silly money for a crappy pint of generic lager; this was not that. Enjoyed it.

12 oz bottle from VA. Typical golden body except for a slight haze. Decent head. The aroma may lean towards mild but the flavor is bold for style. Dry, near medium body with medium carbonation.

5.2%ABV. Pilsener. Poured out gold. 4SRM. Nose is beery with a nice hit of yeast. Mouthfeel is beery. Palate has good pale malt flavor with light sweetness, white bread, and biscuits. Hops are light bitter melon, plant sap. Reminiscent of a good Czech pilsener... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured hazy from a 12 oz bottle. A great summer brew, not as clean as I pictured in my mind but still a very enjoyable brew. Not as much hops as victory prima pils ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
