Bottle. Pours a black body with a small fizzy brown head that faded quickly to a thin film. The nose is rather nice, lots of juicy raspberry and roasted malt, a hint of tartness to come, dark chocolate, a minimal hint of alcohol. The flavor is pretty heavy on the fruit, but there's plenty of roasted malt to back it up and balance it out. A slight tartness after the fruit hits up front. Finishes with a slight kick of alcohol and a burnt malt. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty solid stuff.

Interesting one. This is one of the most raspberry beers ever. There is such an intense taste and smell of a fresh rasberry fruity that is beyond my comprehension. This is unfortunately too strong because it covers all other notes. Torrefacto (1756) - Madrid, SPAIN - OCT 19, 2017
Frambuesa, chocolate, café. Cuerpo maltoso y denso con amargor rustido largo.

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2017 Zwart bier, fijne schuimkraag.
Bottle, 2014 from Jaybeer13 - thanks! Pours clear black, medium creamy tan head, dissipates slowly with good lacing. Aroma is overtly raspberry, cocoa, dark chocolate, roasted malts. Flavor is medium plus sweet, light bitter, raspberries, a bit of seed and stem action, cocoa, lingering tartness from the berries. Fullish body. Not bad, but fruit rarely makes a good adjunct in an imperial stout IMO> koleminer20 (3978) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - AUG 31, 2017
From notes. Enjoyed this at Travis’s house on August 23 because I hadn’t seen the new digs yet, and it was Wednesday. 750 mL bottle. The pour is a darker brown/black combo with a thicker tan head that falls to a dense cap and lingers for quite a bit without lacing. The aroma is nice. There is a pretty heavy raspberry on the front end of this and a great chocolate and roast backing it up. It’s sweet, lightly boozy, and well balanced. The flavor is just as good. There is a strong bitter chocolate and malt up front and the fruit does a good job to balance that out. The mouth feel is medium body and softly carbonated with a lingeringly chocolate raspberry bitterness happening that I like. This is solid. 8 4 8 4 16 fonefan (51124) - VestJylland, DENMARK - AUG 29, 2017
