The aroma had some sweet grassy to earthy hoppy tones. Some malts, somewhat tea-like and lean. Light dose of biscuity to breadiness.
The flavor leaned crisp and malty sweet with a touch of the smooth tea and earthiness. This all combines into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a great sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, nicely done ESB well worthy of having again, preferably with some fish n’chips.

Pours a copper, diaphanous ale with a sheet of off white foam. Light molasses and tea like malts with a hint of earthy hops on the nose - pretty spot on for ESB IMO. The malts are a little oxidized, but not off setting. There is a good herbal quality to the hops and a slight plastic and sharpness to the malt - almost as though the mash was an overnight mash. Body is medium on full and carb is hi as anticipated with a semi dry finish. This is a decent ESB. I always forget how exceptionally forgettable ESB’s are and that the most beautiful thing about them is their subtly, like 007.

Deep copper-amber coloured brew. Fairly assertive crystal malt sweetness with a lightly woody bitterness. A little bit of diacetyl in here as well. Could definitely do with some cleaner yeast here. The hops are actually quite lovely in here. TBone (18355) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 14, 2011

Slightly hazy honeyish golden color, small white head. Yeast, caramel, nutty maltyness, honey. Medium-bodied, low bitterness. Ryeish, berryish, sweetish nutty flavor. Quite odd brew and flatish bottle.
22 oz bottle. Hazy amber/orange with a medium dense head. Aroma of biscuits and lemon mostly with some light caramel and flowers. The flavor is smooth and malty with a mellow hop bitterness coming in at the end. Medium body with average carbonation and a clean finish. Solid ESB, rich and malty with a nice hop character. Bottle. Slightly hazed golden pour, big loose white head. Very mild floral and caramel aroma. Tastes a little sweet and caramelly, a touch fruity, and becomes very floral and a mildly bitter on the finish. Not too remarkable, but has a nice mellow, balanced flavor. On tap at Harmon Restaurant, pours clear copper. Aroma of bitter malt, English hops and light floral notes. Flavour of muted caramel malt and hops. Generic.
