Cloudy deep amber, quite lovely, but flat, uncarbonated body. Nice dusted maltiness in the nose along with amber and deeper roast nuances and some residual sugar. The first sip is a sweet saturation with fresh milled feremented grain juice. Honeyed malt laps on the palate. You can almost feel the grain grits between your teeth. So fresh, malty and sweet. This could use a bit of aging and drying out, which, in bottle form, would add some carbonation, but otherwise resfreshingly fresh and splendid.
