COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is another English style, though with another American twist. Also an original flagship brew; this is brewed to be our "introduction to micros" for our customers. The Pinnacle Peak Pale Ale is a light bodied, mildly hoppy ale brewed with a 2-row malted barley and a special German malted barley. Palisade and Citra hops are used to provide the balanced palate. This is another in-house favorite session beer and very friendly at 4.4% ABV and 20 IBUs.

Light golden and clear with minimal head. Aroma was lightly malty with some citrus and a little herbs. Has some caramel sweetness but perfectly balanced with the hops. Refreshing, clean and crisp, and well built ale.

Straw colour. Light citric ale with breezy pale malt notes. Fresh pale malt character - soft with mild citrus notes. Moderate bitterness. Great balance, very fresh-tasting, wonderfully refreshing. Not billed as such, but an excellent English-style golden ale.

Bottle: Golden, minor haze, mediocre frothy white head, decent lacing, moderate carbonation. Minor hop, citrus, subtle graininess on the nose. Fairly hop assertive start, mellows quickly. Grainy aspect is barely noticeable on the tongue. Very slight diacytl emerges at the finish, but not enough to detract. Average body and mouthfeel. Soft citrus like bitterness lingers. Pretty good stuff this is! Easily sessionable at 3.8%.

Draught at the brewpub
Golden color, just hazy, with creamy head. Now, this is a nice surprise; there is a good jib with the malt, that appears to be also a bit biscuity, delicate aroma of quality hops, fairly bitter, with a good amount of hop resins in the final.
Well brewed.

Draft pour, tasted at Harmon, Tacoma. Clean golden pour with a foam ring head. Soft aroma, with sweet grain, and hops. Cool flavor, a refreshing pale. An excellent beer for a session. Where is this when the baseball season is going? Enjoyable for sure.

12/9/07 Aroma is hop forward with c-hops and a good sweet malt balance. Appearance is a slightly hazy light copper with almost no head. Flavor is quite sweet, with a honey-like malt blend balanced by a slightly earthy bittering for a great contrast. Mouthfeel is very smooth with a moderate carb bite and semi-sweet finish. Overall, nice balance and contrasts, easy drinking.
