2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
My brother picked up a 22oz bottle of this from the brewpub in Washington when he was on a convention near there, so I’m hoping mine will be a bit more fresh than the sour samples from a couple of previous raters. Cloudy golden color with a big white head..rather surprising amount of carbonation. Very mild hop and citrus aroma. Left a white coating rather than a lacing on the glass. The flavor is hop bitterness with a hoppy aftertaste as well, very little malt presence. Not at all cloying or heavy, but not watery either, actually a fairly pleasant mouthfeel. This seems more a medium body light lager in flavor, but the cloudyness and textures are not consistant with that style. However, it seems nothing like other Pale Ales I’m more familiar with..for instance Deschutes Mirror Pond Pale Ale. All in all, this isn’t bad, but I just don’t feel its true to style, and it’s not world shaking enough to make up for its shortcomings.
Draft pour, tasted at Harmon, Tacoma. Clean golden pour with a foam ring head. Soft aroma, with sweet grain, and hops. Cool flavor, a refreshing pale. An excellent beer for a session. Where is this when the baseball season is going? Enjoyable for sure. luttonm (6547) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 17, 2017

Golden color, just hazy, with creamy head. Now, this is a nice surprise; there is a good jib with the malt, that appears to be also a bit biscuity, delicate aroma of quality hops, fairly bitter, with a good amount of hop resins in the final.
Keg at Harmon Taproom, Tacoma, travel 6,000 miles for a golden fucken blonde - hurrah !!! 07/11/14.
Clear golden with a moderate off white covering.
Nose is pale malt, straw, orange, citric vibes.
Taste comprises much the same, pretty ho - hum, you’re not going to match the best examples of this style unless you produce them via cask conditioning, more orange, light vanilla, melon, straw.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close, light hop bitterness.
Drinkable but ultimately dull !

Draft - Nice grapefruit and a bit of pine. Clear gold with a decent white head. Earthy battering hops, pale malts and a clean finish. Basic, but decent. JoeMcPhee (9448) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 6, 2012
Hazy amber pour with a thin white head. The nose is a little bit fruity with some light caramelly malt flavour backed by a touch of citrus. Iced tea ish but not cloying. Hops are there but the bitterness is fairly muted. Leans to sweet. A little bit of brown sugar flavour on the back.

Mount Rainier National Park - on tap at the Inn. Murky medium gold pour, soft white head, good lacing. Aroma has a nice floral touch to it. Flavor is lemon accented with a touch of grapefruit, nice subtle bitterness. Crisp, clean mouthfeel. Overall, very refreshing. TBone (17773) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 13, 2011
Brewery brewpub, Tacoma, WA
Slightly hazy golden color, good creamy white head, lace. Grapefruity nettles aroma from Citra. This one has also good body for ABV. Flavor has pale malts, sweetish pineapple, pine and citrus. Lots of flavors in this beer. Citra is not dominating in the flavor, Palisade brings up some piney notes I believe.
