On tap: The aroma consists caramel, toffee, fruit raisin, and a touch of roasted nuts. It’s a hazy (bordering on cloudy) orangish-brown with a small beige head that fades to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. There is some spotty lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with caramel, toffee, light citrus, and a touch of dark fruit. The finish has light roasted nuts with a hint of banana and herbal notes. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation. Mittenator (1612) - Michigan, USA - MAR 4, 2014
Draft at harmony. Deep copper with an off white head. Caramel, toffee and light malt aromas. Solid. Hollywoodt (240) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAY 11, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Poured a dark amber color with minimal white head. Aroma was dark fruit and a little yeasty. The flavor was a little sweet and a slightly hoppy finish. Not bad. joshwoodward (575) - - APR 7, 2013
Tasted on tap at the Harmony Brewing Company in Grand Rapids. Blandish, too malty for my taste, but good balancing hops. SHIG (4964) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - OCT 10, 2012
Growler thanks to mikem409: Poured a reddish orange with thin white bubble head, that dissipated fast. Aroma is strong boozy dark fruits and caramel malts. Taste is nice fruit and very yeasty, there is a nice sweet stickiness to it. A bit flat from its travel but still a good beer.

On draft at brewpub. Bland in most respects. Light brown color. Not a favorable version of most abbey dubbels. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 10, 2012
On tap at Harmony Brewpub. Clear mahogany with a thin tan head. Aroma is yeasty and fruity with some darker fruits. Taste is sweet with dark fruits, pale malts and fruity yeast. Ok. rumproasts (5575) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAY 20, 2012
deep amber, small head. not as belgianish as some other dubbels, but slightly yeasty and fruity with a nice sweetness. quite tasty. bigtaster (1016) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAR 8, 2012
Pint at the brewpub, two fingers tan head with mostly opaque red dark brown color. Yeast on the nose, slight fruity note, some grass. Medium body, good carbonation. Slight hop bitterness, we’ll balanced, yeast flavors lack what a typical begin style has, but there is still a nice sweet fruit flavor to it. Good beer.
