Not bad for a beer they sell at the pool hall. I was feeling A-OK after about 4 of these. Somewhat bitter, overall clean tasting.

A good beer with an order of chicken wings at your local Hooters. Nice aroma (smells like a nice, strong American beer). A little bit more bitter than your average Joe (that's a good thing) but not a paradigmatic 'bitter' if you will. Still, this is the perfect beer for your average baseball/football sunday.

TheOrange (479) - Kent, Ohio, USA - MAY 14, 2002
Clean crisp, and smooth. Not bad for an American Standard. Good for every day stuff, not a special occassion beer.

SJP (483) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 13, 2002
Decent lager. Nice golden color, very smooth, clean taste. Not very flavorful or extrodinary, but not too bad.

neilrichards (191) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 10, 2002
An average lager. It's better than a lot of the piss type beers that you get in bottles (bud, sol etc.) but not as good as some continental, export strength efforts.

Steak (124) - New York, USA - MAY 6, 2002
Good fruity aroma. Golden color is nothing enticing, considering its so close to other 'american standards'. Very smooth and crisp, what a traditional lager should be like. It's not bursting with flavor, because it's not supposed to.

MarshallMac (143) - West Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 5, 2002
a good run-of-the-mill lager. had a couple of these one night with a few buddies, i like the beer...its cool crisp and clean, very nice

bkuzmin99 (20) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 1, 2002
One of my favorites. Goes down nice and smooth with no aftertaste. Only drawback is the tap MUST be clean out of which it is served or else you really notice it.

DEbeer (192) - West Virginia, USA - APR 30, 2002
This beer reminds me a toned-down Guinness. It isn't bad at all. If you think that Guinness is just too vicious, Harp may be a good alternative.

Ok British Lager. Not very flavorful, but crisp and clean. .................
