Clear, pale straw color with almost a finger of head. Short lasting head though. Smells like green apples and mildly grainy, faint overall. The taste is an assault on the senses. A brutally bitter (not the good kind) and metallic mess from beginning to end. Light and crisp body. The taste was unexpectedly bad, much worse than I thought it would be.

11.2 Fl Oz bottle into a La Chouffe stemmed tulip on 2nd Jan 2018 at my daughters in California. Saw this in a supermarket and remembered that although I have drank this many times it was well before the internet and beer sites were all the rage. Anyway this Harp was a deep golden bodied Lager with a fast fading white head, just as it was in the 1970's. Clean, clear and bright it almost shined in the afternoon sun. Grainy, floral nose, grainy taste with a semi-sweet nature, light late bitterness. Better than I remember it to be honest!

Bill Becker (2003) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 31, 2017
From Oct 2007 This pours from 12oz bottle a clear light gold with a huge head of foam that has very good retention and it has a lot of good sticky lacing. The smell has some hoppiness to it with a touch of malt. Weak nose overall. The taste has a mild hop bitterness up front with a small amount of malt and I can sense some corn but at least it's minimal. It finishes slightly bitter and has a light mouthfeel and pretty high carbonation. Not much more I can say about it other than if I want a lager with similar light flavours, I can pay a lot less than the plus US$8 I paid for the 6pack. Next..

Can from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn, Pours golden with a frothy lasting white head. Aroma of grain, malt, grass and light citrus and floral notes. Medium to heavy sweetness, very light bitterness. Medium body, sticky but watery texture, average carbonation. Sweet, sticky grainy finish.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2017 Over algemeen niet erg bijzonder bier. Makkelijk cafe pilsje waar je er zonder enkel probleem een paar van opdrinkt. Licht scherpe smaak

On draft at bike happy hour, At O’Connors. Very clear yellow, white head. Subtle grainy aroma. Taste is usual inoffensive malty lager, hint of hops. Light, okay.

330 ml bottle into lager glass, bottled on 12/5/2016. Pours crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/nuttiness, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/nuttiness, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/nuttiness, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a very nice pale lager. All around nice robustness and balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful for the low ABV; with plenty of clean malt flavors, and solid earthy hop presence. A very enjoyable offering.

From old tasting notes. Clear gold color with a large creamy white head. Fruity hop aroma. Bitter hops upfront with a sourdough background. Nice dry hoppy finish and aftertaste. Nicely done.
