As far as lagers go this is one of the better ones. A bit too sweet for my taste. Definately the best looking lager (it’s still a lager though).
Can from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn, Pours golden with a frothy lasting white head. Aroma of grain, malt, grass and light citrus and floral notes. Medium to heavy sweetness, very light bitterness. Medium body, sticky but watery texture, average carbonation. Sweet, sticky grainy finish. mkerver1 (9) - - AUG 15, 2017 does not count
UPDATED: AUG 15, 2017 Over algemeen niet erg bijzonder bier. Makkelijk cafe pilsje waar je er zonder enkel probleem een paar van opdrinkt. Licht scherpe smaak OnTheTrail (560) - Virginia, USA - AUG 14, 2017
On draft at bike happy hour,
At O’Connors. Very clear yellow, white head. Subtle grainy aroma. Taste is usual inoffensive malty lager, hint of hops. Light, okay. superspak (5880) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - JUL 17, 2017
330 ml bottle into lager glass, bottled on 12/5/2016. Pours crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/nuttiness, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/nuttiness, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/nuttiness, herbal, light pepper, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a very nice pale lager. All around nice robustness and balance of bready malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful for the low ABV; with plenty of clean malt flavors, and solid earthy hop presence. A very enjoyable offering. MarcoBasile (466) - DENMARK - JUL 4, 2017

On tap; gold/straw color with light-medium head. Slightly grassy aroma, but fruity as well. pretty good hop/malt balance. Definitely one of the better pale lagers out there. gripweed57 (2796) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAY 2, 2017
From old tasting notes. Clear gold color with a large creamy white head. Fruity hop aroma. Bitter hops upfront with a sourdough background. Nice dry hoppy finish and aftertaste. Nicely done. Scipio (1180) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - APR 9, 2017
Pours a pale, watery yellow with a thin white head. The aroma is pretty weak. Its made up mostly of floral hops, but I do get some grain and lemon as well. The taste has a very light sweetness and is somewhat bitter. Floral hops are still heavier, with bread, mild earthy malts, lemon, and some graininess that comes through more at the end. The aftertaste is lemon and grain, but sadly the grainy flavor here is more potent. Light in body, thin in texture, and average in carbonation. I remember about 15 years ago when I considered this a premium beer. Today, unfortunately, I can’t find anything positive with this one. ebone1988 (2073) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - APR 5, 2017
Aroma is slightly sweet, slightly funky, earthy hops, corn, a really off-putting sweetness. Appearance is darker golden, white head, clear and bubbly. Taste is corn, slightly fruity, earthy hops, metallic, not good. Mouthfeel is light body, light crisp carbonation, corn and fruity aftertaste. Overall, a 96 by style? They sure set the bar low for this style. It’s not atrocious, but it’s severely lacking in a way that a typical macro does.
