Tasted 6/6/09. 22oz bomber. Filtered with a deep golden honey hue. Thick ring of off-white head. Spicy nose with hints of mild rye bread and bitter hops. Medium to full bodied with a bitter palate. Good malt character with a touch of cola. Bright effervescence. Honey and rye with a bitter hoppy finish. Decent stuff. GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 17, 2009
Bottle shared with blankboy, HogTownHarry & garthicus - blankboy’s bottle. Golden-amber with a small head. Aroma is warm, with notes of rye bread, buckwheat honey, a bit of toffee, and spicy hops. Medium bodied. Flavour is nice, with some toasted cereal, spicy hops, and a hint of citrus. A pleasant but not overly exciting beer. Holdwine (1235) - Beertimore, Maryland, USA - APR 25, 2009
Trying to catch up on my ratings...Nice and spicy with the right touch of rye. Orange-amber pour. A little sweetness mixes well with the slight bitter finish. I have a growing soft spot for rye... TheGent (656) - , Massachusetts, USA - MAR 28, 2009
pours a color like an apple cider with a white head on the thin side. smell was bready with some slight sweetness. Easy going down nicely textured beer. Will have to try more from the 100 barrel series LyndaNova (532) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 20, 2009
Cold 22oz bottle; pours a medium orange-copper color with minimal off-white bubbles in center and around edges. Aroma is of bread, light fruits and modest hops. Taste is of nice grains and yeast well blended with grassy hops. Crisp, medium to heavy bodied, with ample carbonation. Ending is of grassy hop notes blended with oranges.

Pours a clear orange with a thin white head, aroma has notes of bread, oranges and spicy ginger. Starts and ends lightly bitter with a long spicy bitter ending, medium bodied with ample carbonation. Hopefully Harpoon will keep this as a regular offering. zebracakes (1339) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 14, 2009

Bottle. Pours a relatively clear orange amber color with a medium creamy beige head. Aromas of baking banana bread, malt, and maybe brown sugar. Body is a bit on the thin side, and not overly sweet. There’s a slight dry metallic note on the finish which isn’t so nice on what is an otherwise solid beer. reggiedunlop (3725) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 3, 2009
pours the color of opaque iced tea with a thick very light colored tan head. great lacing and retention. aroma is subtley sweet and hoppy with orange and light spice...also tea-like. flavor displays spicy hops and caramel with faint rye and also tastes like tea. mouthfeel is oily with some thickness. has a lingering finish where the spiciness shines through. these100 barrel harpoons are nice! jeff789 (1408) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 3, 2009
