Bright orangey-red colour. Mild toasty, caramelly aroma. Toasty caramel taste, lots of rye character and chewy breadcrust. Decent. bhensonb (15848) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 29, 2008
Bomber from Wine Specialty. Copper color with a decent white head. Aroma of resin hop. Medium body with nearly creamy carbonation. Flavor is roasted malt and resin hop, perhops with a touch of floral/citrus. Finish is fruity and nearly dry. This is a great ale. It is incredibly tasty. Get it. Enjoy it. Smooth and mellow. Hoppy. Bitter. Wonderful. Tmoney99 (15036) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 2, 2008

On draught at Bodega, thanks to JaBier for sharing. This beer is a reddish-orange color with a thin white head that fizzes away steadily. Thin rings of lacing. Grainy malt and hops in the nose. Medium body with a moderately hoppy character. Some doughy malt flavor and very little rye is evident. The finish is malty with a light bitterness on the back end. Just averaage overall. bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUL 31, 2008
(Draught) Pours a clear amber body with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of fruit, oak, herbs, and rye. Flavor of oak, hops (floral), caramel, and toasted rye. j12601 (13189) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAR 5, 2009
Bottle. Pours a relatively clear orange amber color with a medium creamy beige head. Aromas of baking banana bread, malt, and maybe brown sugar. Body is a bit on the thin side, and not overly sweet. There’s a slight dry metallic note on the finish which isn’t so nice on what is an otherwise solid beer. hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 26, 2008
22oz bottle. Poured a medium orange color with a very large sized off white head. Aromas of rye breadiness (that came out the more it warmed), very lightly spicy, and I was getting some citrus in there too. Tastes of some rye (not as strong as the aroma), spicy, and some lighter sweetness. Sammy (12846) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 20, 2008
A nice drinking ale, reddish in colour. Malty aroma, and the taste- well, complex malty, some bitterness, a bit of rye, no taste overpowering. Nothing too edgy, just nice with lunch, the moderate bitterness comes through in the aftertaste.
