Fantastic! I love ginger - the spice is subtle and the beer is surprisingly refreshing, not sticky, not sweet. They hit a home run with this one. dfinney23 (3271) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 29, 2012
Pours clear golden-orange with a bubbly white head. Ginger and wheat aroma. Taste is freshly-grated ginger over malty wheat and lemon zest. Nice balance of flavors. Jow (3925) - New York, USA - AUG 13, 2012
Bottle split #3 prior to a Saturday wedding. Pours slighty dark orange straw color. with ginger nose. tastes of lemon, ginger, and honey. not much wheat but its crisp and refreshing with some spice. pinkie (470) - New York, USA - MAR 25, 2013
This pours hazy and golden with about a finger’s worth of foam and then falls off to some nice lace. It smells like ginger. I love it already. Nose is light malt and light citrus wheat and ginger. As it warms some banana and lemon. It’s pretty subtle. The taste is awesome with a full wheat base against the spicy ginger and the gentle hops. Even had a bit of toasted bread in the finish. It’s creative and not the usual fare. It’s slightly sweet and mouthfeel is soft and pleasant with a bit of citrus to wash it down. No alcohol on the palate it finishes simple and pale. Wheat is a refreshing beer and with the ginger it’s both warming and crisp. Sensational and very original. I paired this with striped bass. Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - DEC 14, 2009
Bottle. Pours a copper body with a white head. Ginger notes, some light honey tones, a brittle spicy notes, light sweet citrus notes and a slight tart and spiced finish. Decent enough.

16 ounce pint - $6.75 at Taco Mac in Suwanee, Georgia.
Appearance: Hazed, burnished gold body with a very thin, white head.
Smell: Well, it certainly has a pungent ginger aroma. There are other notes of other what-have-yous in the nose, but it’s hard to get around the fragrant ginger.
Taste: Slight initial taste of malted wheat then a bold zip of ginger snaps you to attention. Fairly sweet. Particularly lemony, but, now I see lemon juice was used in the brewing process, so there ya go. Sweet ginger on the finish with a lingering ginger burn on the tongue.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-light carbonation.
Drinkability: Why, it’s like a Vernor’s Ginger Ale with alcohol! Not that that’s a bad thing, mind you. Seems like this would be well suited to Asian cuisine. dchmela (3064) - Orlando, Florida, USA - FEB 3, 2010
Tap at the Pony Bar. Big pungent ginger aroma. Taste is smooth wheat with nicely balanced ginger. garthicus (2929) - Dublin, IRELAND - APR 3, 2010
Thanks to HogTownHarry for sharing this. Appearance: Slightly cloudy orange, clean white head. Aroma: Like a ginger chew, somewhat soapy, Harry mentioned a urinal cake and I can’t disagree, very sweet ginger. Flavour: Caramel, ginger, very zingy, quite a soapy finish, weird but good. ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - APR 4, 2010
Nice fresh cut ginger nose. Taste is lightly bitter, lightly sweet with some decent ginger flavor, light honey and cotton candy, some herbal spiciness. Decent stuff. MaltDawg (1344) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - APR 17, 2010
(Sample Date: 4/12/2010 Source:Butters) Ginger aroma with a light graininess. Clear golden with small head. Spicy ginger flavor with some spruce or juniper berry notes. Quite peppery. Finish medium but dries quickly with a lot of peppery spiciness. Tasty.
