Bottle from brewery in VT: pours mahogany with a subtle off white head. Malts, wheat and grain on the nose. Herbs, grain and malts with a subtle bitterness on the finish. Interesting not special Steeeve (327) - Ambler, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 14, 2011
On tap. Medium brown pour with a light brown head. Mild sweet aroma of roast and wood. Flavor is pretty bland. A little bit of malt sweetness. There is a very mild wood character, but it’s not all that pleasant. As my girlfriend put it, it tasted like "when you chew on a toothpick for a while". Couldnt have put it any better. Just very boring overall, and a bit thin and watery. Not impressive. crajun (1253) - , Texas, USA - MAR 12, 2011
