bomber to be enjoyed by 3/15/13 - pours dark ruby brown with voluminous tan head that slowly vanishes and decent lacing. Nose is coffee roast and caramel. dry. heavy coffee flavors. Struggling to find the sweetness. bitter roast taste. Smooth body for sure but there some lingering odd aftertaste. matthewjk (1102) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 23, 2013
Saw this hanging out at my local Krogers, so I went for it at $6. A simple and direct roasted coffee porter--not bad. Nothing that most craft brewers don’t do better, but not bad for Harpoon, whom I generally don’t think too much of. Jasond612 (282) - Phila, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 18, 2013
8/16/13 bottle from RW shared out front with Dan. $6.99
Dark brown with a tan head. coffee on the nose with some maybe a little cocoa. I was expecting more coffee though. Tastes basically the same: roast coffee. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Eh

This was a really pleasant surprise...drank in 90 plus degree weather but it was not overly rich as these can sometimes be. It was actually almost thin in texture but it had a great flavor mix of dark chocolate and coffee and some nuttiness too. It had a nice aroma of chocolate. Well done.

650ml bottle from a Shaw’s grocery store. Strange as it sounds, this really did taste like the Mexican coffee it used, tropical and fruity, but also coffee. Overall, this was really tasty, but the coffee did most of the work. Drake (13939) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 22, 2013
Bomber from Ale Yeah, Roswell. Pours a dark brown color with a large tan head. Fair head retention. Aroma of sweet coffee and chocolate, cocoa, mild hops, mild vanilla. The taste is coffee, chocolate, roast, nuts, faint fruits. Medium bodied. Nice beer. ben4321 (6547) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAY 1, 2013
Location: 22 oz bottle from State Line, 5/1/13
Aroma: The aroma is heavy roasted malts/coffee, some burnt notes, and some mild earth
Appearance: It pours a dark brown color with small beige head and some drippy lace
Flavor: The taste is medium-heavy roasted, some mild sweetness, and a lingering bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a tingly feel, and a dry, somewhat off finish
This seemed like as good a beer as any for my first beer of May. Anyway, about this one is just a bit off. The nose and pours gave the impressions of a solid coffee porter, but something odd comes through in the taste and feel that doesn’t work for me at all. Overall, this one was disappointing because I really wanted to like it.
