Delicious poured a creamy slightly transparent chocolate brown, extreme coffee on the nose, bittersweet chocolate flavor that lingered pleasantly, great balance comping form a mass produced brew house. TChrome (1472) - North Richland Hills, Texas, USA - FEB 8, 2013
Really rich aroma of roasted coffee, chocolate, and nuts. Taste is sweet and finishes quite bitter. This is really tasty beer from Harpoon. Very highly recommended!!! Jesterdeal (1985) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - FEB 6, 2013
Aroma of pure coffee. Pours deep brown with a nice blanket of tan head. Taste is smooth roasty coffee. A little coffee dominant but a perfect neutral mouthfeel to back it up. Great cup of Joe. Tmoney99 (14495) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 6, 2013
Bottle. Poured clear dark brown color with an average frothy brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate roasted dark coffee aroma. Medium to full body with a thick smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy roasted dark coffee flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Good complex brew.

Pint at Tylers Apex. Good aroma, sweet. Chocolate, coffee, little brown sugar. Dark, orangy brown color, small head spotty lace. Bittersweet flavor. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, Bittersweet finish. Good, not gonna wow you, but solid in all areas.

Pours a dark black brown color with a small mocha head. Nose is straight no chaser dark fresh espresso coffee. Taste is pure coffee, with heavy chocolate notes, perhaps a bit too light. But nevertheless finishes on the coffee notes, drinks quite easily and quickly secondary to the low ABV. Nice with a pardron. This poured a medium brown color with a biege head. Aroma was of strong burnt coffee, light latte, chocolate, and roasted malt. Flavor was lots of coffee as well, a little thin and watery but great roast flavor with a hint of chocolate. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JAN 27, 2013
