Aroma is toffee, caramel. Pleasant , but somewhat weak. Dark brown , blackish pour. Very bubbly. Taste and mouthfeel is almost cola like. Some coffee and caramel. Not bad...interesting beer.

[email protected] VIII. Slightly hazy ambery brown colour with small off-white head. Aroma is wood, canilla, caramel and some slight wooden notes. Flavour is fruity, some slight roasted notes along with quite strong tart wooden notes. This left a bit strange in my books.

65 cl bottle @ PBF VIII
Aroma has sweetish woody notes, some caramel, toasted notes and vanilla. Flavour has sweet caramel and toffee notes. Also some vanilla and wood. Definitely not your typical stout. Also makes me wonder what barrel was used since I cannot taste it.

Pours a dark amber brown colour with a white head. Aroma of sweet caramel, lingonberries, grass and bread. Flavour of floral hops, sweet caramel, bread, cardboard and bread. Medium bodied, thin mouthfeel and a dry finish with some maltiness. Surprisingly thin.

Pours clear brown with a small head. Aroma of sweet syrup, caramel, hints of hops, ash and fruits. Taste is sweet, grassy and grainy with hints of syrup, caramel and roastiness. Finish is bitter, grassy and grainy. A bit untypical and unbalanced.

Pours dark copper color with a small head. Aroma of ripe fruits, some syrup, sugar and some grass. Flavor of malts, fruits and some nuts. Weird.

Bottled at PBF. Clear dark brown, faint head. Toasty nose with some tropical fruit. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Mildly roasty, rather shallow. Mid bitter finish. Ordinary.

Pours black with a whole lot of ruby when held up to the light. Very assertive coffee mocha aroma. When tasting, the aroma and flavors combine to form a coco puffs cereal type flavor combination with a hint of coffee. Its actually quite tasty. I’ll definitely have to pick up some more...

Bottle. Pours a dark copper with medium beige head leving spotty lacing. Aroma of strong roast, coffee bean, and chocolate. Thin mouthfeek with rich chocolate and roast with sweet finish. Good.
