The aroma is a standard lager aroma, slight hints of fruit in it. Pours a clear amber with a quickly fading white head. Nothing really special about this beer, just a decent drinkable ale.

Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a semi-golden bronzed sort of copper color to it. Some transparency in its body and has a fingers worth of white foamy to bubbly head. Quick dissipation. Sliding lace. The aroma had some bready malts with citrus in the background. The flavor takes the prior mentioned aromas and adds a dry woodiness to it. Nicely blended aftertaste with a smooth dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt right. Overall, good for what it is, but didnt exactly look like an amber, everything else seemed mostly on par. Id have again.

[2/2/17] Draught at Harpoon Brewery in Boston. Deep golden. Grainy, malt, bready, slightly fruity, a bit of citric hops, sweetish, bitterish finish.

Pours a gold from a bottle, white head with some lacing. Fruity aroma, kind of a nondescript melon apple maybe? Similar flavor, some bitterness, rather big mouthfeel. Okay beer.

Amber color, clove malt aroma real lean. Not too plalatable for drinking more than one. A lighter berr ok but too cloying for a middle road brew
