On tap at Capone’s. Poured a medium golden color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of floral hops, fruity, and spices. Tastes follow suit. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 11, 2010
Clear copper with fair, fizzy, white head / Nose of grain and spun sugar / Medium body, sweet and sticky malts with minimal hop presence / Flavors of spun sugar, corn, and imitation banana / Even for Harpoon, this is awful. Pwn3d (1962) - Manhattan, New York, USA - APR 4, 2010
Lifted from retirement.. and I thought I was picking up something special, blast! Fruity with yeasty. Ok mansquito (6437) - Nueva York, New York, USA - APR 4, 2010
Six Pack ($10): Pours a golden orange with a thick and foamy head. Aroma is of fruit, hops, and Belgian yeast, so it smells rather nice. Taste is slightly sweet while maintaining a strong hops presence belying its affinity to the Harpoon IPA. Kind of a tart finish and overall a really smooth and enjoyable beer. Bottle. Pours a golden orange color with almost no head. Nose is quity fruity with peaches and apricots. Palate is light and stingy with a nice dry finish. Flavor is fruity with a dry note. Apricot, dry chalky yeast. Quite nice.

12 oz. bottle. This beer isn’t retired anymore. Pours a crystal clear orange with bubbly off white head which is soon reduced to a thin film. Nice aroma of belgian spices, yeast, clove, bubblegum. Crisp bite of hops and spices. As stated earlier by someone, flavor of bubblegum on finish, but not in an overly artificial way or anything. Medium bodied, palate slightly watery. Would be a good session. Uglyradio (791) - Greenville, South Carolina, USA - MAR 8, 2010
Clear amber pour with a big foamy head...Nice fruity aroma...Big fruity flavor with a bit of hops in the mix and a long bubblegum finish... dlovell2 (2140) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - FEB 28, 2010
Copper color with white head. Floral and clove aroma. Citrus flavor quckly followed with taste of cloves. Bitter citrus finish. Unique beer. My taste buds are confused. Am I drinking a Belgain or a Pale? hamsterglory (48) - Bryan, Texas, USA - APR 21, 2009
this is a nice beer, though somewhat odd. there is very little palate or mouthfeel in this beer; however, it offers a very nice lingering aftertaste of strong citrusy dry hops. a bleak, english bed of malts does surface in the initial flavor, clouding the hop flavor, making this IPA feel more like an amped up lager than an IPA. it is not until the aftertaste that the citrusy floral hops shine through. i’m not sure what to think of it. i keep buying it, trying to decide, which i am sure appeases the company just fine. still, i’m not sure this is one i will revisit for the long term. even the nose is bland, overly english and malty, void of the bouquet finally evident in the lasting moments. i do not pay to wait. i’m impatient. shucks, i take ice cubes in my coffee, for crying out loud. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - NOV 8, 2007
(Draught) Pours a clear golden body with a moderate white head. Aroma of citrus pulp, floral, and herbs. Flavor of herbs and citrus peel with light bitterness in the finish.
