Bottle. Pours a just clear golden amber with a medium to large white head. Sweet grain on the nose, a touch of either sweet fruit or corn. Medium bodied, sweet, more of that oxidized fruit that showed on the nose, turning into a bit of paper and grain. Grainy, dries out a touch as it moves to a long bitter finish, dusty and featuring a light quinine note. alobar (3754) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 1, 2012

Pours light gold into a Sam glass. Bright white head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Sweet caramel aromas. Soft with bread and hay upfront turning to a mildly bitter earthy finish. thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 13, 2012
(12oz bottle thanks to blutt59) clear light gold with no bubbles at all. Nose of water, funky gold raisin, earth, lager yeast, old grain. Taste of EArthy hops, mild bitterness, root plants, agave, weird. Light body but strangely syrupy. GL2814 (361) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 28, 2012
Pours pale yellow with a thin white head. This offers a nice balance of malts and hops, with a grassy aroma and refreshing finish.

draft at harpoon. pours very yellow with a nice white head. some citrus and grass notes on the nose. I didn’t get much on the tongue. Unfortunately you can’t drink a beer by smelling it so... Clean Finish. Nice start but a tad disappointed at the outcome. freekyp (2192) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - OCT 24, 2011
Harpoon’s pilsner entry has the requisite grassy nose, and light straw color that the style is known for. Leaves a light brittle lacing. Nice light sharp hop bitterness. Slightly tart finish. Mouthfeel could use a bit more crispness. Still, a tasty well crafted rendition. garrison (812) - Cin. city, Ohio, USA - AUG 28, 2011
Purchased at "Remeke/Biggs" in Cincinnati, Ohio - Alright, this one pours a golden brew with a rapidly fading white head of foan and a grainy aroma. Tastewise, this is a fine beer for session use with a pleasing taste but, hey, this really is just another lawnmower beer... but a good one.
