A hazed blonde pils with a thin white head. In aroma, a nice grassy malt with smooth floral hops, nice. In mouth, a nice crisp malt with smooth herbal hops, nice and smooth. Tasted at Raquette River Beer and Wine Fest, July 13 2012. Drake (13635) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 7, 2011
12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear gold with a medium sized creamy white head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of grain and lemony citrus hops. The taste is grain, citrus and a bit of grass. Medium bodied. rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 26, 2011
355 ml bottle. From Windsor, VT.j12601 (10868) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUL 4, 2012
Clear pale golden colour with almost no head.
Skunky hops in aroma. Somewhere between Mexican Lager (Sol/Corona) and Czech Pilsener. Quite sweet malt, skunky hops and urine in flavour. I’m not dying for this.
Bottle. Pours a just clear golden amber with a medium to large white head. Sweet grain on the nose, a touch of either sweet fruit or corn. Medium bodied, sweet, more of that oxidized fruit that showed on the nose, turning into a bit of paper and grain. Grainy, dries out a touch as it moves to a long bitter finish, dusty and featuring a light quinine note. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 12, 2012
355mL thanks to Ryan. Clear straw pour with small lace. Nose is squashy, sweet lemonade, über sweet lemon iced tea. Lipton bottled iced tea. Taste is sweet, mega sweet iced tea, lemon juice. Palate is tangy, juicy, but not really on style. Odd.

Bottle sample at the Harpoon tasting at Blacklick Wine & Spirits on 5/26/11. Clear yellow pour with a thick white head. Dank malt aroma with crisp hops. Malty flavor with kind of an odd creamy character before a bitter finish. Not quite as bitter as I would have expected for the style. FROTHINGSLOSH (7667) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 1, 2011
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a clear yellow-gold color with a huge foamy white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was crisp and bitter grassy, floral and perfumey hops. The flavor was tangy, tart and perfumey with notes of Sweettart candies and artificial sugar. The finish was long, tart and bitter with lingering artificial sugar. Light body. Eh. CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - SEP 9, 2012
12oz bottle: Pours a clear pale golden with a spotty-lacing white head. Has a lightly sweet pale malty nose with some floral hoppy notes. Starts with decent fullness and a clean light malty sweetness with good hop balance before a drier bittersweet finish. Has good drinkability and is pretty true to style. AirForceHops (7129) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 18, 2012
12 oz. bottle. Used a lager glass. Clear gold color. High carbonation producing a ring of white head on the surface. Aroma of grain, Saaz hops and a bread / cracker note. Unfortunately the flavor is lacking. While the taste does provide what the nose is suggesting, the palate really is thin and watery. Too bad, the smell is better than the weak flavors. I’m sure the Leviathan Big Bohemian Pilsner is much better, if they still brew it. My option is to skip this one. blutt59 (6562) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 18, 2012
