Malt, grass, and cranberry in the aroma. Standard malty flavor, with some sweet, acidic cranberry in the finish. I don’t think this should be categorized as a fruit beer--it’s more a fall seasonal--but I still like this beer a lot. It’s a lot better than the vile cranberry lambic from Sam Adams, for example. mar (5440) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 31, 2011
deep copper pour with a light white head. nose is rich caramel malts, dough, and faint cranberry. decent thickness, rather surprising sweet malts, light toffee, faint tart finish. blipp (9691) - La Mesa, California, USA - DEC 30, 2011
Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. The aroma has a light cranberry fruity sweetness, with light toasty malts. The flavor has a bready and toasted malty base, some light cranberry sweetness, low bitterness, and some grainy notes. Better than I expected it would be. Bottle. Cranberries? I’ve had more cranberries in a bowel movement. Smells like stale bread, tastes like stale bread. This beer anally v iolated me. djd07 (15543) - Houston, Texas, USA - DEC 27, 2011
Bottle. Pours a clear amber with small off white head that leaves spotty lacing along the glass. The aroma is cranberry and wheat. Thin mouthfeel with a sweet fruity malt with cranberry and sweet finish. A decent fruit beer from Harpoon.

Had this before and with christmas dinner over at ma’s friends sherry and ronnies (deep fried pork tenderloin and spiral ham) .. . pours a deep amber .. light foam .. light cranberry, light light molasses, and fruit pits .. . it goes down easy but a tad muddled and not fruity enough .. . . herb!! no madam, its herbert, i’m not a seasoning!! morrdt (715) - Jacksonville, Florida, USA - DEC 20, 2011
12 ounce bottle from Total Wine and More in Huntersville, NC. The beer itself starts out impressive: it pours a nice dark amber/copper color with a little bit of a tan head. Aroma is surprising. I was expecting to get a lot of cranberry nose in this beer, but it was all rather muted, just a little bit of malt and the cranberry seems non existent. Taste is fruity with some malt notes and then a little bit of cranberry sneaks in on the end of it. Aftertaste is from the malt lingering on your taste buds. Overall, this is a nice beer, but I am a little disappointed it. I thought this beer would be refreshing, instead it was just another fruit beer with nothing that makes it stand out from the rest. iugrad93 (265) - Indiana, USA - DEC 20, 2011
Poured a clear copper color with small white head and little lacing. Aromas of hay, with light notes of cranberries. Taste is sweet, not as much tartness as expected and though the cranberries are there, I expected more. Overall, pretty decent brew from the malts but was left wanting more cranberry flavor and more of an effervescent palate. nick76 (4402) - Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 18, 2011
The aroma is malty and sweet with some hops but almost no detectable cranberries. The appearance is amber with a small head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall a good to drink beer but does not live up to being a cranberry beer.
