slightly tart but has strong flavor. the malt and hops are medium . a nice drinking beer for the Xmas dinner. gives off a good scrubing flavor. nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 18, 2011
The aroma is malty and sweet with some hops but almost no detectable cranberries. The appearance is amber with a small head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall a good to drink beer but does not live up to being a cranberry beer. BadAprilia1000 (433) - Sevierville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 18, 2012
Amber red color, small to no head. average lager flavor with a hint of cranberry. simple.... rougeau13 (3008) - Richmond, Texas, USA - MAR 21, 2012
Dark brown-amber with a modest cream colored head that laces just a bit. Aroma of nuts, bready malt, earth and light cranberry. The taste is malty with some cranberry sweetness and tartness and a very mild bitterness. Medium bodied, very slightly dry. Overall, pretty decent, the cranberry is quite mild and serves as more of an accent than a primary element. DrinkEmUpJones (1069) - Georgia, USA - NOV 6, 2012
Ruby Red with thin white lacing. Malty, caramel, yet slightly grassy aroma.. Malts upfront on the palate but overall crisp and clean with a bit of spice and earthy bite on the back.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a deep amber color with a hint of red seen shining through the clear body. Upon pouring there is a small fizzy white head that fades almost instantly to leave just a hint of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell –The aroma is heaviest of a sweet caramel as well as some hints of toasted grain. Rounding out the aroma is the tart cranberry smell that one might expect, along with some lighter hints of a floral and grassy nature
Taste -The taste begins with a sweeter and toasted bready flavor. The sweet upfront is a mix of sugar sweetened cranberry as well as a bit of caramel. As the taste advances it remains relatively on the sweeter side, but also takes on some tart tastes as well as a light grassy taste. As the taste moves on to the end, the cranberry gets rather potent producing a somewhat chalky and tart cranberry flavor to be produced, which knocks down the sweetness and the roast a bit. With a light earthy flavor coming to the tongue at the very end, the combination of flavors leaves a slightly chalky, tart, but lightly sweetened cranberry and toasted malt flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is on the average side with a carbonation level that is rather average as well. More carbonation and a thinner body may have been slightly more refreshing in light of the cranberry flavors of the brew, but all in all, the feel was still alright.
Overall – Not bad, but really not that great either. The cranberry and grain tastes are good, but It has a sort of sweet yet tart and chalky taste that really don’t meld well together. Worth a try, but nothing more. thornecb (5907) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 16, 2010
Pours deep clear amber into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Bread and nut aromas. Sweet cranberry upfront turning to bitter twigs in the lasting finish. puboflyons (3432) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - OCT 22, 2011
From a bottle marked Best By: 02/15/12-278. It pours a reddish brown with a frothy but short-lived head that leaves plenty of clinging lace. Those cranberries are pretty evident in the aroma along with a sweet malty character. The body feels about medium. The cranberries seem to lose their lustre in the taste however. They’re there but harder to recognize. There was tart aftertaste.
