Bottle. Pours clear ruby red with a small off-white head. Aromas of caramel malt, red berries and sour cherry, and wet gym socks. Flavor is a little sour malt, raisin, and slightly tart cherry/grape; a little cranberry in the aftertaste. Medium carbonation, thin, and dry. Not great. 12oz bottle. Pours a surprisingly deep golden brown with a small creamy off white head. Aroma is mostly soft malt graininess with some notes of cranberry, quite sweet. Flavor starts subdued sweet, again mostly just a soft creamy malt note, a bit of a candyish cranberry note, not the slightest tart or sharp. Finishes a bit grainy but not terrible, just a bit bland. Medium body and a sharper carbonation. Not wholly unpleasant but nothing too grand, just not much going on. ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - FEB 24, 2011
12oz bottle. Pours a deep copper amber color with a one finger slightly creamy head. Nose is light hops and fruit. Tastes like mild tart cranberry with malty toasty notes dominating and a semi-sweet finish. Light to medium in body with ample carbonation. Reynolds314 (3470) - Connecticut, USA - NOV 9, 2011
This was better then I thought but i thought it would be gross. Kind of boring with light cranberry tartness on a background beer that tasted a bit like a vienna or marzen. johnnnniee (4374) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 29, 2011
I’ve seen this on the shelves the last few years and never thought once about buying it. This year someone left a bottle at my house, so I guess this is the year.
Pours a medium copper color with a good sized white head that displays moderate retention and lace. Smells malty with caramel and brown sugar and that distinctive aroma of cranberries. Smell is sweet and fruity and not bad actually. Taste is exactly what I expected from the aroma. Brown bread, syrupy, caramel, cranberry sauce. It was fun at first, but about half way down the glass I got real tired of the fruity sweetness. Medium body with a spirited level of carbonation, sweet almost syrupy mouthfeel. One sweet and fruity beer that I’m glad I got to try, but that I can pass up again next year.

Clear copper color with no head. Aroma of cranberry and grain. Slight cranberry flavor with grain presence. Not much else to the beer. scarletfire65 (1485) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 3, 2013
Bottle at home. Pretty, deep amber hue. High, bone white head. Dried cranberry Craisins on the nose. Fruity, acidic, tasty. Tart, grainy, lagerish finish, with mouth drying, red wine like tannins. Perfect to pair with roast turkey, gravy, sweet potatoes. jtclockwork (16831) - , New Jersey, USA - NOV 20, 2013
Bottle. Pours light brown with off white head. Nose and taste of dusty cranberry, malt and light toast. Lighter medium body. Soft carbonation. lamas (1648) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 30, 2013
Bottle. Enjoy by: 01/15/14. A clear ruby pour with a thin beige head. Cranberries, wheat, cereal grains, and light caramel in the aroma. Goes down thin and crisp. Wheat and sweet cereal grains start things off taste-wise. Just a tad white bready in the middle. An estery cranberry sweetness/tartness follows. Some sour lemons are present at the end. Overly sweet throughout. Not too impressive on its own, but might actually accompany a turkey dinner quite nicely... hershiser2 (3533) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - FEB 10, 2014
$1.75 Bottle, Wine Warehouse, CHO.
Pours brownish red with a tiny dusting of a head. Smells of cheap lager, cranberry, grape... almost a champagne smell. Tastes of heavy cranberry, almost candied, but not sweet. Finishes with a strong cheap lager taste.
