UPDATED: OCT 10, 2004 Nice orange/amber color with a small white head, leaves good lacing. Hoppy and moderately spicy aroma. Flavor has some fruity and spicy notes; the palate is slightly thin. Finish is bitter, but not overwhelmingly so.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2006 Clear, golden-orange body with a sudsy, pure white head. Floral and citric hoppy nose plus a slightly catty element. Stale, cheesy hop quality with some juicy-fruit and light bready malt presence. Medium-high, sharp bitterness. This was a gateway beer for me once-upon-a-time (circa Super Bowl XXX in 1996 when Dallas defeated Pittsburgh 27-17). Now its just a fair IPA at best in my book.

Good beer. The flavor isnt overpowering, but the floral taste and aroma are very present. The finish is crisp. Good balance in this beer.

Clear golden beer with a foamy off-white head. Quite odd aroma for an IPA. Some hops but dominating straw notes, more like a blond. Also straw in the flavor and only very little hops. Rather thin and watery. A really disappointing IPA.

Poured an orange with thin white bubbly head. Smell of hops. Thin body. Taste of hops and a little bit of malt. Very weak for an IPA.

Pours a light orange color, very little head. Floral scents in the smell. The taste is watery and very thin. Decent lawn mower beer.

Bottle. Poured a yellow with orangish hues. Thin head. Aroma is both of malt and hop. Neither is real dominant. Some floral notes. Mouthfeel is medium thin. Taste is malty, subtle earthy hops. Fair.

Nice amber/orange in appearance with a moderate white head. Wonderful citrusy, piney hop aroma, a characteristic IPA scent for me. Flavor was a very good spicy hop sensation, but not very bitter. I felt like this beer could use a bit more bitterness, but the hoppy flavor, specifically a grapefruit note that I picked up, was excellent. A fine IPA.

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2006 An orange beer with a small but disppearing white head. Both the aroma is slightly sour, malty, and slightly hoppy. I loved this beer before I joined RateBeer, especially when I had it at the brewery - but 2 years and 2500 beers later it has become boring - it is a little sad, but also shows how much my world of beer has improved.
