A good, above average IPA. Nothing special here, but very drinkable. Has the usual hop bite of an IPA, but seems a little toned down so the average drinker might enjoy this more. There is some sweet maltiness too. An easy to drink, evenly balanced IPA.

Pours a light clear copper with a white head. Aroma is malty. Taste is of light grapefruit/citrus and is floral, malty and hoppy. Not as aggresively hopped as most US IPAs but there are still plenty in this brew. Good sweetness, medium body, moderately bitter aftertaste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Very well-balanced. This is probably a good IPA to introduce first timers to.

Red with a white head. Hoppy and bitter aroma. Bitter and biting flavor. Very active palate, fizzy.

Sweet, fruity and hoppy aroma. Orange golden colour with fair white head that recedes to cover. Good lacing and excellent clarity. Hop flavour is subsumed with fruitiness which is in turn chased out by a reasonable bitterness. Lasting fruit impression. Medium-light body and a bit high on the carbonation. Bottle.

A good tasting ale, a little bit bitter but many IPAs are. It’s color is a golden brown and the aroma suits the beer well. Overall a pretty solid brew.

Poured a medium golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of flowers, and a kinda of musty yeasty smell that I did not enjoy. Light bitter tasting (not as much as a typical IPA). I’ll pass on this one in the future.

Pretty good IPA, nice to drink on a warm, summer day. Not as much hop bite as I would expect, but has good mix, feel and finish.

CamdenD (1197) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUL 4, 2004
Looks like an extra-pale ale -- no head. Smells of.. well, nothing, just beer. Felt like I was smelling a miller lite. Has a nice crispness to it, but I can’t treat this like an IPA. I feel like if Bud made an IPA, it would taste like this.

motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 4, 2004
reasonable but slightly muted. citric aroma, quite sweet but with moderately bitter finish. just lacking in guts

Mads Langtved (2243) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - JUN 21, 2004
Sampled at one of the best bars on the planet. 75 taps, waitresses in School girl outfits, live music and pool tables. What more can you ask? This is yet another typical good IPA with a nice balanced bitterness in the palate.
