355cl bottle from a 4 for £6 deal at ASDA Metro Centre. Poured into a 1/2 glass. Bright gold with a white head. Aroma of honey and gorse flowers. This contributes to the floral and honey flavours. Overall, quite restrained, which is no bad thing when so many IPA’s can seem shouty and attention-seeking. Not that this is bland: it’s smooth, easy drinking and satisfying, and I wish I had another in the fridge. Out of the four, the one I’ll definitely buy again.

Pours a clear golden amber color with a small white head. Floral nose with a bit of citrus. Also a bit of caramel malts. Taste is medium sweetness, light biterness, medium body. Not aweful but nothing special.

Tap. Pours amber thin white top broken lace. Aroma is floral hops.Taste is more bitter sour than sweet although the fruit tones remain. I guess more rind than flesh. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and an oily finish

Bue à la pression. Deuxième bière décevante pour cette brasserie. On a là une ipa basique sans complexité ni grand intérêt. Equilibre moyen. Agrume, finale courte.

Citrus nose. Pale with big white head. A classic IPA that tastes like guarana. Rated by BrewTom

I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours amber with a white head. The aroma is earthy, floral hops. The taste is slightly citrus with bitter, earthy hops. It’s not anything that stands out. It’s sessionable and decent though.

On tap, hotel bar in Boston. Amber colour, white foam. Pleasant enough fruity citrus aroma. Crisp, light to medium bitterness, Cascades. Old school IPA, doesn’t stand up in bitterness or aggressiveness to more modern IPAs but it goes down quite nicely and was perfectly pleasant.

Tap @ Euston Tap, London - UK. Color: clear amber beer with no carbonation and no head. Smell: resin and pine hops. Taste: medium body with good malt backbone balanced with resin hops. Quiet drinkable. Aftertaste: resin hops.

Pretty good Boston beer, one of the best here in the area actually - can’t wait to have it on tap in their brewery.
