12 oz. bottle. Aroma is citrus and piney. Light copper color, slightly cloudy, with small off-white head that didn’t last too long. Taste starts sweet, turns to a good, clean bitter, and finishes with floral notes. Somewhat bitter aftertaste. Medium body with just about the right carbonation. Overall, a good, solid IPA.

Bottlen picked up on vacation, in Birmingham, Alabama. Cheers! to memories!

Pours a golden color. Clear. About one finger white head. Good retention, good lacing.

Aroma is very malty. Smells sweet. Light citrus, floral. Light pine. Wet cat.

Taste is caramel malt. Sweet, malty. Hoppy, but not in a bittering way. Floral and tropical. Pretty mild.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied. Smooth, mellow. Semi dry. Pretty crisp. Mouthfeel is high.

Overall, it’s okay. It’s mild for an IPA. It’s good for a noob to IPAs or craft beers, but not one I’d buy it again.

On tap at Yankee Lobster down the street from the Harpoon Brewery, tasted commercial which people tell me is malt, I didn’t get much IPA in this one. Might want to hit this one with a few spices or perhaps a hop or two.

Deep gold. Aroma - grainy grassy hops. Taste - caramel malt base with some grassy earthy and slightly spicy hops. A touch of fruitiness that lends a bit of sweet to it. Low bitterness for an IPA but easy drinking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tasted from a 12 oz. bottle. It poured a clear golden hue with a bubbly off-white head and spotty lacing. Aroma of a macro brewed pilsner. Malt and mild hop taste. I would not have guessed that this was an IPA if it didn’t say so on the bottle. It doesn’t suck, but not what I’m looking for in an IPA.

Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Light hoppy notes up front. Some soapiness to it. A bit of a metallic twang to it. Very mild old school IPA. Some bready flavors as well. A little vegetal. Not a very good IPA.

355ml bottle. Pours orange gold with a large head. Aroma is spicy, bready orange. Taste has bready orange squash. Some boiled sweets. Light spice.

Keg at the Flying Pig, Cambridge. Deep golden and clear. Heavily carbonated with a large but quickly disappearing white head. A fair bit of lacing is left. Light resin, citrus, cantaloupe, banana in the nose. I’m used to IPAs with exciting aromas and the passive nature of this one is a bit of a surprise. Simple bittersweet taste. Not so much to it although it’s agreeable. Some slightly astringent hop bitterness near the end. Melon on the aftertaste. Heavy carbonation on the palate. Well-enough put together that it can survive being on the bland side.
