Always an enjoyable beer. Its my first choice of the 20 beers on tap at my local bar, admittedly with nothing outstanding to challenge it. It has a refreshing hoppiness and it is easy to drink.

Poured a clear light amber color and coerced a nice one finger frothy head. Oh yeah, this one is all about the hops. Bittersweet taste with a solid yet mild citrus flavor. Good carbonation all the way through with a pleasant lingering hop malt finish. Will be purchased again when I’m looking to get an excellent yet basic IPA.

Poured light copper, with thin head, high carbonation. Inviting floral hops aroma -- not too much. Smooth, but one dimensional.

Nice amber/orange in appearance with a moderate white head. Wonderful citrusy, piney hop aroma, a characteristic IPA scent for me. Flavor was a very good spicy hop sensation, but not very bitter. I felt like this beer could use a bit more bitterness, but the hoppy flavor, specifically a grapefruit note that I picked up, was excellent. A fine IPA.

Aroma was week, but this had a decent balance of hops and malt, with a little spice in the flavor. Otherwise nothing remarkably good or bad.

Clear golden orange pour with 1/2 a finger of white head. Very nice hoppy citrus aroma. Flavor a little more mild and a sweet citrus - with a bit of grapefruit bite. Kind of thin on the palate and somewhat low on ALC for a premium IPA... good not great

Light amber pour with a foamy head. Aroma of grassy hops and some malt. Flavor balanced between hops and malt with neither being very strong. Not a bad beer, just a bland one.

Ok not rating as if an IPA. This beer is awesome. A great pale ale. No imperfections real crisp nice hops nice little malt profile, a beer you can drink forever and not dislike everything. Sorry for all you haters this is so drinkable bday in and day out. Period.

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2008 NEW REVIEW: Bottle. The aspects missing with my first review are all there in the bottle version of this beer. I am quickly realizing that I prefer bottles to tap. OLD REVIEW: On tap. Poured a transparent, pale gold with a small, creamy head that didn’t last long but left a small bit of lacing on the glass. Smell was sweet with floral notes, but it didn’t impress me. It tasted better than it smelled, with sweet start and a hoppy finish, but the thin texture detracted from it.
