Pours a clear orange with thick white head, lots of lacing. Aroma decent of hops, but not highly so, mostly citrus, slight floral, decent malt backbone, and not a whole lot else. Flavor matches well and has a nice flavor, mostly due to a nice hop profile, but doesnít have a lot else going on. Mouthfeel is thin, leaves a nice bitterness, and a slick mouthfeel. Wish this had more going for it, but it appears to be nothing more than a nice refreshing bitter beer with not a lot else. Would I buy it again? Not likely with many better IPAs similarly priced.

Bottle from Trader Joeís. Light hoppy notes up front. Some soapiness to it. A bit of a metallic twang to it. Very mild old school IPA. Some bready flavors as well. A little vegetal. Not a very good IPA.

355ml bottle. Pours orange gold with a large head. Aroma is spicy, bready orange. Taste has bready orange squash. Some boiled sweets. Light spice.

Keg at the Flying Pig, Cambridge. Deep golden and clear. Heavily carbonated with a large but quickly disappearing white head. A fair bit of lacing is left. Light resin, citrus, cantaloupe, banana in the nose. Iím used to IPAs with exciting aromas and the passive nature of this one is a bit of a surprise. Simple bittersweet taste. Not so much to it although itís agreeable. Some slightly astringent hop bitterness near the end. Melon on the aftertaste. Heavy carbonation on the palate. Well-enough put together that it can survive being on the bland side.

Can from Asda. Aroma is faint. Bit of grain and corn. Lovely golden colour, thin lacing. Really tight palate: bright resin and bitterness, but overall taste doesn't linger. Decent, for what it is. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Grain and cereal malts, caramel, floral hops, light grass, wet straw. Clear gold, small, creamy, white head. Light sweet. More pale grain malts, caramel, more floral hops, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Unexciting IPA. Keg at Euston Tap, Euston.

Bottle. Moderate hop flavor with slight bitterness and a nice touch of citrus. Smooth and easy to drink - nice hot weather beer.

355cl bottle from a 4 for £6 deal at ASDA Metro Centre. Poured into a 1/2 glass. Bright gold with a white head. Aroma of honey and gorse flowers. This contributes to the floral and honey flavours. Overall, quite restrained, which is no bad thing when so many IPAís can seem shouty and attention-seeking. Not that this is bland: itís smooth, easy drinking and satisfying, and I wish I had another in the fridge. Out of the four, the one Iíll definitely buy again.

Pours a clear golden amber color with a small white head. Floral nose with a bit of citrus. Also a bit of caramel malts. Taste is medium sweetness, light biterness, medium body. Not aweful but nothing special.

theprof (931) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - APR 24, 2017
Tap. Pours amber thin white top broken lace. Aroma is floral hops.Taste is more bitter sour than sweet although the fruit tones remain. I guess more rind than flesh. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and an oily finish
