Pours a clear orange with thick white head, lots of lacing. Aroma decent of hops, but not highly so, mostly citrus, slight floral, decent malt backbone, and not a whole lot else. Flavor matches well and has a nice flavor, mostly due to a nice hop profile, but doesnt have a lot else going on. Mouthfeel is thin, leaves a nice bitterness, and a slick mouthfeel. Wish this had more going for it, but it appears to be nothing more than a nice refreshing bitter beer with not a lot else. Would I buy it again? Not likely with many better IPAs similarly priced.

Pours a golden color not much head to speak of. Taste was ok not enough of anything for me to feel strongly one way or another. Average all away around.

BB Backlog, Draft, pours a copper clear orange with large white head. Smell and flavor of sweet malt, apple, resin and stale hops. Light body with aggressive carbonation. Ruby Tuesdays uses this beer for items on their food menu....its gotta be good guys.

Beer is okay, nothing special. Poured with a sudsy off white head and a clear amber color. Aroma was just basic hoppy and malty. Tasted malty, hoppy, and bitter sweet. Decent body. Slightly bitter finish and drinkable. Not especially memorable.

Had this at the brewery in Boston with Martin but also widely available on tap. Hoppy nose. Clean amber with a light head. Crisp and balanced. Moderately hoppy finish. F Avey---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From 12oz bottle. Pours golden yellow, with average white head, good retention and solid lacing. Taste little hoppy, flowers, citrus. Medium bodied. Smooth at the end. Good IPA.

Can on a boat. As unabashedly old-school as they come. This is the kind of beer that probably blew New England palates away in 1993, but Im secretly happy that its still being pumped out. Sure, the flavor is really restrained compared to todays NE DIPA hop bombs, but the world needs a solid, boring, and local old-school IPA.

Keg at A back-alley boozer in Mayfair. It pours clear amber with a substantial off-white head. The aroma is pretty pleasant - sweet, sticky, juicy, plenty of orange marmalade, peach and some pine on the back-end. The taste is bitter - sweet, pine, toasted grain, some grass, orange marmalade, toffee and a touch of spice with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. I imagine this was pretty stand-out beer back in the day, but in 2016 it is pretty damn average. Remains drinkable.
