Interesting to see this style done as a big beer. Golden color with hearty head. The aroma as hop spice with some tropical fruit and cherries. Taste was an agressive bitter that caries out as well as some pungent skunk. light inb ody but not watery. probstblueribbon (4088) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 23, 2010
12 fl oz bottle from Part Source (Syracuse), served at cellar temperature in a Scotch Irish taster glass. luvmyhops (26) - Amity Harbor, New York, USA - FEB 12, 2010
App.: Clear bright golden with a large white froth.
Aroma: Some nice grassy, peppery hops, biscuit/bready malts for support, a slightly soapy/sweet/floral note, some lemony citrus, light fruitiness with some berries and mango/tropical fruits, apples, a bit of alcohol, nice overall.
Palate: Medium body, moderate-light effervescence, Pils-like smooth.
Flav.: Old apple juice, fruitiness, quite soapy/floral, less of the peppery/grassy hops (still there though), candy corn?, esters make an appearance, honey?; sweet with decent bitterness, warming alcohol, an unpleasant grain spirit note and then fruity light malts to finish.
Aroma is of malt and earthy Saaz hop. Slight haze to this beer, taste is sweet malt followed by a slight hop bitterness. Medium body. Overall an ok beer. Dorwart (2609) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - FEB 5, 2010
Thin head of white bubbles. Recedes quickly and leave a thin sheen of foam. Aroma of springtime. New grass and flowers along with some light lemon and mint. Color is a hazy golden orange. Mild flavor with some sweet malts, herbal flavors and a bit of citrusy hops. Noticable alcohol presence and flavor. Kind of overpowers the mild flavor. Finishes sweet and malty with a lingering hotness. An ok brew. The more I drink of it the less I like it.

hazy orange straw with thick frothy offwhite head and quality lacing.
sweet toasty aroma, very yeast-y and bready, with crisp bittersweetness and an alcohol tinge.
deep fruity flavors combined with more classic crisp hoppyness. sweet with a very dry finish.
medium body and high carbonation, alcohol is barely present but there’s a slightly odd aftertaste of vegetables and toothpaste.
