Pours a dark black with brown head. Has a nice chocolate, coffee, and dark alcohol aroma. Taste is strong with chocolate, coffee, and malts, with a lingering dark alcohol aftertaste. Not overpowering like many Russian imperials. More mild. Reynolds314 (3441) - Connecticut, USA - DEC 6, 2014
Nice looking Imp stout thats pitch black with creamy brown head. Aroma is licorice, mollases, chocolate, and some heavy ashy roast. Taste is mildly sweet with high bitterness. Tasty. dlovell2 (2132) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - DEC 4, 2014
Pours black with a thick creamy tan head. Roasted malt aroma with coffee and cocoa. Flavor starts roasted malt with some sweet caramel and vanilla flavors. Followed with some cocoa, molasses, brown sugar, and coffee flavors and finishing with a roasted dark coffee bitterness. Silky smooth mouthfeel. I let this one warm up for about an hour before I opened it and I think it really let the flavors bloom.

I continue to be impressed with the beers in the Leviathan Series... and this is no exception. Dark and thick with plenty of dark roasted malts and a medium amount of hops... good one. Holtguy (178) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - NOV 21, 2013
Pours black with tan head, a little bit of light shines through the edges. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee - very typical of an RIS. Flavor is pretty smooth considering the abv. Flavor is dark chocolate, maybe a bit of coffee. Pretty tasty and drinkable. Not too heavy, and slightly thin mouthfeel. Overall very good, but thinner than I expected.
