Dark ruby color, small brownish head, some lace. Malty, a bit troasted aroma. Toasted, a bit chocolaty, malty flavor. Yeasty kind of notes in the aftertaste. Well-brewed into style, but as such not really so interesting although this is a good beer.
Nice dark almost black pour in the glass. Nose and taste is balanced caramel malts and light hop bitterness. Rated 6/8/02 djd07 (16289) - Houston, Texas, USA - OCT 26, 2012
Bomber. Pours a dark amber with a medium beige head that quickly diminishes leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is a bready malt, raisin, and caramel. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet toast caramel and chocolate with lingering dry finish. A good dunkel from Harpoon.
