Pours a clear copper with a frothy white head. Nose is a little caramel and European hops with a touch of clove. Flavor is sweet at first but quickly dissapates to a sticky but bland finish. Very light bodied. Very typical marzen. gripweed57 (2733) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAY 2, 2017
From old tasting notes. Deep orange red color. Bubbly beige head. Sweet toasted malt nose. Flavor follows nose with toffeeish notes. Herbal hop finish is subdued as not to mask the big malty character you’d expect for a Marzenbier. ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - MAR 24, 2017
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass at the World of Beer in Savannah, Georgia. The appearance is a rusty gold color with a large off-white head. the aroma is malt and some hops. The taste is malt driven with some hops. An average beer. TheHopster (1111) - Netcong, New Jersey, USA - NOV 17, 2016
(bottle) My last for season. This is a decent domestic with more hops than the traditional. There is an updated blue label on the bottle, different than pictured above. JStax (7017) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - OCT 25, 2016
Draft pour. The beer is a clear copper with a beige head of fluffy foam. Aroma is doughy, crisp spice. Some sweet, caramel notes poke through occasionally. Moderately sweet with a quick, dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Fairly solid Oktoberfest.

Bottle at a kid’s birthday party. Malty sweetness and some grain/nutty flavor dominate -- this is clean and inoffensive. saledio89 (15) - BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA - SEP 11, 2016
From bottle, pours red-brown with thin white head with short retention and average lacing. Taste of roasted grain and touch of caramel. Bit bitter end. Average beer. Quick3Beers (1324) - East Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 20, 2016
Pours a red-brown from a bottle, thin off-white head with good lacing. Aroma of rye toast, or cracker. Flavor is a roasty bready slight caramel with a bit of a burnt note. Good beer. chinchill (5175) - South Carolina, USA - JAN 12, 2016
12 oz van into a lager glass.
Beautiful appearance with a deep copper-amber body that’s topped by a thick and tall off-white head. Excellent clarity. Little visible carbonation after ’settling’.
Mild aroma, as expected, with both bready malts and spicy hops evident.
The flavor is a bit more hoppy with a solid malt base. Overalll, lightly bitter Block (2894) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - JAN 3, 2016
This beer is really light. Some slightly malty flavors in the body which quickly disappears. Low on the hops content as well.
