2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Not too impressed. The finish is a little too acidic for my taste in a white IPA. I prefer a smoother, softer finish. The aroma is very piney.
12oz Flasche. Hefig- hopfiges Aroma. Helles naturtrübes Gelb. Sehr interessanter Geschmack. Wie ein Weizenbier mit viel Hopfen! ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - JUL 18, 2016
Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear golden to light amber color with a large white head. The aroma is full of hops, citrus and pine (very nice). The taste is hop driven with some citrus. Jabah (550) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - MAY 10, 2016
Well...if this was part of the 100 barrel series, I am glad that I found it in a 12 oz. bottle. This was only one single on clearance for $1 at ABC liquor, so I grabbed it to sample since there’s all these other white IPAs coming out. Not as tropical as the one’s here in FL, but I liked this a lot. Has that New England/ English IPA flavor and feel. Not super hoppy, but balanced quite nice. This is great for a food pairing or just good everyday beer. I’d grab a 6 if I see it around. We get Harpoon down here, but not heavily distributed with all the other competition. baraciisch (3406) - California, USA - APR 27, 2016
Clear gold in color... Aroma of crisp golden malts, light caramel, some herbal hops... Flavor is crisp biscuity malts, caramel, light fruity hop notes... Decent

Bottle from Shaw’s, enjoy by 5/15/16. Poured into a pint glass a slightly hazy gold with a thin white head and minimal lacing. Cereal and bread aroma. Clove and pepper notes with a long herbal hop finish.

Harpoon The Long Thaw White IPA is pleasant surprise and a tasty brew. Pours a bright orange-yellow with thick white head that retains well. Aroma is an intoxicating tropical fruit. Taste is also very tropical with peppery hop notes and pleasant clean finish. Long Thaw is definitely worth the wait for a delicious IPA. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - APR 14, 2016
Bottle from Whole Foods Arlington. Golden body with fast disappearing head. Nose is hoppy, citrus and floral. Taste is hoppy as well with nice floral and lemons. Crisp texture. Nice in the finish. luttonm (6863) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 2, 2016
Bottle in NYC. Clean, sharp and well understood beer when tasting. A nice fruit note, apricot and citrus, balances with a herb-fresh body. Smooth clean and tasty, with good green hop bite. Clean and hits well in its areas. HoppyScallywag (339) - Butler, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 26, 2016
This is a well crafted white IPA. Has a crisper, light bite that increase slightly while not being overly hoppy. The bitterness that lingers reminds you that it's an IPA.

Draft at Eulogy. Clear gold pour with lasting off-white foam. Glossy sweet blonde malts with some amber fruit and citrusy hops. Medium-bodied. Fragrant ascetic aroma. Caramels. Yellow plums. Lady apples. Peaches. Honeycomb. Buttery croissants. Slight peppery spice. Cannot say I like it much but I find it oddly interesting.
