Old rating....just a totally down the middle wheat beer. Decently yeasty with citrus notes. Pretty normal. bigtaster (1002) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 27, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 27, 2017 On tap in a pils glass. Yellow body big white head. Lemon wheat nose. Light body, slightly acidic, high carbonation. Simple, lacking the clove and wheat flavors I expect in a hefe. DialSquare (5102) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 10, 2017

Pours a hazy golden yellow color. Aromas of bread/lemon/and some fruit. Had a taste of yeasty bread with some spice. malrubius (2957) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - APR 9, 2016
Okay, this is categorized as a wheat ale even though it says hefeweizen on the label, which is appropriate because as a hefe it is fucking terrible and almost all American "wheat ales" are terrible. Nice cloudy orange straw with lasting head and lace. Mild honey malt aroma. Light honey malt sweetness with a little grassiness and green grapes and a little wheat tang and a lot of water. WTF? Very watery tasting. Very very little flavor. Light body (which is okay with me) and fairly soft. Just fucking flavorless. JESUS. Drain. Sirmixsomewhat (266) - Paoli, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 10, 2015
I love the hefeweizen style, so I figured I’d like this before I even tasted it, but objectively, I think this is a beer that can’t really be knocked for any legitimate reason. It tastes like a lot of other hefeweizens, sure, but it doesn’t try too hard to be gimmicky and end up tasting weird as a result. It’s a solid, safe beer. tfontana (1039) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 19, 2015
Bottle. Aroma is yeasty cheese and citrusy hops. Appearance is hazy yellow. Taste is true to aroma as mix of mild sweet and sour. Palate is light-bodied with fairly thin and slightly slick texture. Carbonation is soft and finish is short and yeasty. Overall, true to the style but not particularly robust in any category.
