Bottle. Poured golden amber color. Light foamy head. Wheaty aromas. Lightly carbonated malty taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Yellow pour, monstrous head. 5 minutes later i can finally start this one. Aroma is yeast, light citrus, wheat. Taste is prettmuch the same, yeast, lemon, wheat, very light spice that my palate has a hard time picking out. Lighter body. Refreshing, but i'll (reluctantly) reach for a circus boy every time over this one. Ponder that for a second.

Old rating....just a totally down the middle wheat beer. Decently yeasty with citrus notes. Pretty normal.

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2017 On tap in a pils glass. Yellow body big white head. Lemon wheat nose. Light body, slightly acidic, high carbonation. Simple, lacking the clove and wheat flavors I expect in a hefe.

(Tap) cloudy, bright yellow orange colour with a small beige head; aroma of lilies; smooth palate; balanced flavour with a medium long, light tart finish; competent

Completely bland wheat beer. Pale color with fizzy head. Aroma is light lemon, biscuit, cracker, seltzer. Taste is bland minerally and lightly sweet.

12oz bottle pours out wheat color topped with white head. Nose is grassy hops some light wheat and grain notes. Taste is more of the grassy notes grainy and a little wheat.

Pours a hazy golden yellow color. Aromas of bread/lemon/and some fruit. Had a taste of yeasty bread with some spice.

Okay, this is categorized as a wheat ale even though it says hefeweizen on the label, which is appropriate because as a hefe it is fucking terrible and almost all American "wheat ales" are terrible. Nice cloudy orange straw with lasting head and lace. Mild honey malt aroma. Light honey malt sweetness with a little grassiness and green grapes and a little wheat tang and a lot of water. WTF? Very watery tasting. Very very little flavor. Light body (which is okay with me) and fairly soft. Just fucking flavorless. JESUS. Drain.

I love the hefeweizen style, so I figured I’d like this before I even tasted it, but objectively, I think this is a beer that can’t really be knocked for any legitimate reason. It tastes like a lot of other hefeweizens, sure, but it doesn’t try too hard to be gimmicky and end up tasting weird as a result. It’s a solid, safe beer.
